I wanted to set up an online jewellery business on Instagram. My first job was an admin assistant but still I find it boring when I have nothing to do on Saturdays and Sundays. My salary is considered average, I also heard that selling things online by being a retail owner can earn some money but I’m not sure if I can earn a lot of money from that. You might be thinking, “yeah she wants to live a high life so she can spend thousands of dollars on luxury items” it’s not true at all. My goal isn’t to live like a wealthy woman, my goal is to want to have 2 kids, a nanny and a slightly expensive house (so there’s enough room for two kids to live). But in order to have that an average salary is not enough to raise two kids and being able to afford a nanny. Hiring a nanny costs more than 1000SGD per month, raising a child is already expensive but raising two kids costs double. I have to earn more than 3600SGD to 4000SGD per month to be able to cover the costs. My job only pays 1800 - 2400SGD per month which is not enough. At the same time i think I might have time for working out. How much can I earn per month just by selling real crystal jewellery? Is it a good idea to have two jobs?
