Trump's team supports renaming forts back to the people who were on the side of the confederacy... let me make this absolutely clear. The confederacy wanted to keep slavery legal. To support confederate members and its confederate flag, is a support for slavery. Yes I get that some people claim the confederate flag is a symbol for southern pride.. but be real, its for the support of slavery.

Reinstating confederate names to Places like
Fort Barfoot
instead of honoring a medal of honor recipient that has no ties to the confederacy they chose to name it after a confederate army general George Edward Pickett

Fort Eisenhower
being changed to Fort Gordon, instead of honoring Dwight D. Eisenhower a former president who didn't support slavery, they instead chose someone that supported the confederacy. However with respect to Gordon's accomplishments in the war. Still Gordon was on the side that supported slavery.

Fort Gregg Adams
The current trump team wants to rename it back to Fort Robert E Lee, a confederate general. It was named Fort Gregg Adams, for Lt. Gen Arthur Gregg and Lt. Col. Charity Adams accomplishments in the military and they didn't have ties to the confederacy.

Why allow so much confederacy praising in an america that doesn't want slavery?

It just seems like we got a bit of an internet problem in this country where kids go into certain online spaces and become radicalized... so i feel like this is something we all need to get better about. Being aware of what they are consuming and if they are on troubling sites the parents should raise alarm bells and at the very least have a conversation with the kids about it.

My mother and I had a conversation today, and we agreed most of the leftists were have came across in our lifetimes are self-centered. Many are entitled and just selfish.

I keep talking about the leftist tenant from hell my parents are trying to evict. She knows I am about to get married in addition to facing many challenges of my own as I try to reestablish my life. Instead, she causes undue burden and stress and drags out her eviction with no sense of urgency or humility. It is my parents' home and my parents are trying to protect me and my living situation (she rents the downstairs basement living space; I occupy the upstairs). My parents are ridding her because of her hostility.
