Alex and lover Kelly move in together. Both have graveyard schedules & smoke. Kelly usually finishes smoking faster & goes inside first. Kelly also uses a small metal black footstool outside.

Alex can't see it in the dark & bangs their leg hard walking back inside. Small cut, big bruise! Alex moves it out of the walkway. Alex doesn't blame Kelly for the accident and admits to not looking before walking; but since Kelly insists on keeping patio light off, asks Kelly to move it out of the way when not in use. Kelly says ok but be more careful.

This happens 3 more times over the next few days. Each time ending in Alex moving it aside & a gentle reminder for Kelly to please move it before coming inside. Alex comments on the worsening pain as time goes on & is limping some now. Kelly shows minimal concern or help. The 3rd time, Alex is very frustrated and confronts Kelly more harshly. Kelly agrees to put more thought into remembering but Alex should really learn to walk around the area to avoid another accident.

Two weeks Kelly just hasn't used the stool so it couldn't be accidentally left out again. Alex's leg has swollen & bruised up alarmingly bad. A quarter sized blood clot is ballooned out of Alex's calf, requiring blood thinners.

One night the couple is outside together again and Kelly uses the stool. Just like before its left out & Alex kicks it falling inside with intense pain crying out for Kelly's soothing. Kelly asserts "if you can't learn to look where you're going then I guess I'll just have to throw it away". Alex says its unfair to force guilt like that. "Either my fault you have to trash your footrest or its my fault i got hurt again when I'm the only one moving it aside and you keep moving it back and forgetting". Alex suggests finding a way so the stool more visible like glowing tape or using the patio light. Kelly refuses, rules it trash, & both stay upset the rest of the day...

Who is right?

I met this guy 3 weeks ago at a concert. I went by myself. His friends approached me and we ended up hanging out for the night. He flirted but never made a move. His one friend was drunk and got my number before I left for the night. Next day, his friend asked me out, I politely declined, explaining I had chickened out from asking the guy I was interested in for his number. The friend said the guy heard me telling another guy I had a boyfriend (I don’t, I do this when I’m out alone to easily reject guys). The friend also sent me the guys number and said he thought I should text him. I did. We texted everyday for a week and he called me 3 or 4 times to chat. First time he called he said he was not a good texter and preferred calling (if I was good with that). Throughout the week we got to know each other a bit. He made sure I knew he lives a few hours away (he is moving soon tho), and that he is 9 years older than me. The last call we had was ~ half an hour and went really well. He teased me and called me nicknames, said his friends thought I was really cool, and mentioned different things we could do together. He told me he was going on a trip that weekend and at a music festival the following weekend so he would be super busy. He told me he was just a call away before we hung up.
I texted him the next morning responding to something he sent the night before. I asked a question about something we discussed on the call and he never responded to the text. A week after our last call, I had not heard from him so I texted again. I said I might be able to make time if he wanted call me again sometime that week. I figured I was likely getting ghosted, so I mentioned if he wasn’t feeling it that I understood and it would be no hard feelings. He texted back a couple days later adamantly saying he definitely wanted to keep talking. He never called though, and that was about 5 days ago now. Should I consider myself ghosted? If not, is it likely he’s just not very interested?

So I kept it to myself and decided to block him to get over those feelings, so I kept unblocking him and talking to him but he never said anything negative he would always tell me it's been a while and I feel like a shitty person, so it's 5 years now and I'm still in love with him but every time we talk it seems like his moved on, like he doesn't talk to me much like he used to, he doesn't ask me questions like he used to, and he also talks about this one girl he likes even tho I like him, I keep trying to move on as well but I can't , but i know that I was the bad person for blocking him for years and coming back, I think I've blocked him 10 times now but came back 4 months or 1 year later, I already told him "I love you" and he responds "I love you to buddy" so I just know his moved on, when I text him he takes hours , days , or even weeks to reply and if he does he'd say he forgot or he is seeing the message now, I really wanna move on and I want your help on that, should I just tell him goodbye and move on? Because he is the first guy I've loved but I messed up so I'm the one to blame, every time he texts me my stomach drops, and everytime I text him I just don't wanna stop because I can text him for hours and hours and never get tired but he seems to always respond minutes or hours late, he doesn't text me good morning anymore or goodnight I really miss the old us, I wonder how it would have been if I never blocked him and just kept talking to him, maybe we would have been something , so I was thinking should I just text him for the last time and say my goodbye? I really need help with this answer because I can't decide and I'm overthinking too much
