What do you guys think is wrong with him?

Hi guys! my boyfriend was getting ready for work, he asked me to help him find this work related email from weeks back (he is trying to get a better job, and he hates his current one which will become important) but i've noticed on days he has work even the tiniest thing triggers and makes him angry and he bitches and moans about having to go. I saw in his email it said this girl added him on snap and he was mad at me for continuing to question him for it after he said he doesn't know who it is, and he does this damn near every time he gets mad but he said "ok we're done we're breaking up" and accused me of trying to start an argument, and then got mad when I lashed out at him back because I can't take it anymore, every time I say something he doesn't like, however small, he goes into attack mode and says things like "I'm not attracted to you, I can do better, fix everything about how you look, your bottom row of teeth aren't perfect (even tho they are lol and he in the past has told me he hates how yellow his teeth are and imperfect compared to mine in photos), you're a bitch, you're a cunt, move out I can pay for this place on my own, it was a mistake being with you" and the literal night before it's "you're the most beautiful thing, I love you so much, I was thinking we should go to a baseball game soon or dinner". I find it so disgusting he can speak to me like this, the name calling, trying to put me down, the back and forth flip flopping. And then his psycho ass pulls his phone out to record us talking and he continues to call me a bitch and be mean to me and tell me he doesn't want me here in the first place, it was a mistake, after in the past he tried to break up with me when mad then cried to me and begged me to never leave him said that was a mistake, he loves me etc. what do you make of him, and his polar behavior?
