My first language is not English so i would like to know what my friend meant when i asked her about an outfit i have.

I asked her: "Do you personally like it? Does it make the cut?;

And she replied: " I do. There is nothing wrong with it."

This was through text and the thing i am asking is if she indeed likea it or tries to be polite.

PLEASE READ: If she wasn't my sister, I'd have a hard time caring about her. That being said, she's far from the worst person, and she's usually super sweet, but she'll never ever give up an argument against me, and her final say is "I don't want to talk about this, so stop talking about it."

I'm a very curious person, but I'm not someone to make false claims, so I might ask something like, "Don't you think women are less decisive in general?" I am curious about what she thinks, but she'll get offended and say NO that's sexist even though I'm simply asking what she thinks. I actually think many women would even agree with me on this point by the way.

My sister is super set on equality too. I know what many of you are thinking, "of course" but the truth is men and women are not the same. We were actually walking together, and for those of you who don't know the sidewalk rule, it says that the man should be on the outside, so he can protect the woman in case of danger from cars. This is normally used in a romantic setting but I genuinely wanted to walk on the outside because I know I'm much stronger than she is, but guess what? I didn't because I thought she would be offended.

Do you agree or disagree with the sidewalk rule?

Do you think my sister would've been offended? For those of you who are thinking, "why don't you just ask?", it's because then we might get into an argument and I don't like negativity around me. I have to go to a birthday party soon.
