I can’t get dates and I can’t get matches. I tried a new dating site and to my horror. Nil matches and activity. I went my whole life without a girlfriend
The older I become the more it seems less likely to happen. I work so hard that after work I feel exhausted and there’s no where to meet girls. I’ve given up alcohol too so that takes away a lot of socialising. Girls don’t even show any interest in me anyway. I feel like I would get more success if I were a gay man and not straight 🤦
Even if I were to meet a girl I don’t know how to date and move things forward. I question if dating has always been this impossible or if it is to do with modern abundance and quest for perfection, social media’s standards of a ripped body. Who knows…. but it seems way harder than getting my degree.

It puts a smile on my face to hear the vicarious joy of others - a new car, a new home, a new job - hell, you won the lottery even if it was just a profit of 5 extra bucks winnings - or even that you've scored a girlfriend or boyfriend - or you finally bought that slice of cake because it was in stock at the cafe that day finally before the morning rush ☀️ 🍰

Many men are afraid to approach girls they don’t know, and women almost never do it; it’s very rare. I used to be scared too but in high school I had a social environment, so I could easily meet girls by finding common ground in classes, and since I was good looking and successful, it was easy. In fact, most of the time, they were the ones who came to talk to me.

When I went to university for engineering, the number of girls decreased a lot. I stayed without a girlfriend for a long time. I got tired of this situation, so one day I approached a random girl I liked in the library, found an excuse to start talking, gave her a compliment, and got her Instagram. While doing this, I was so stressed my hand was shaking when I gave her my phone. But I succeeded it felt like I had unlocked a new skill in flirting.

I’m curious can you cold approach? And are you comfortable doing it?

I think for most people, skydiving creates less stress than cold approaching.
