I hear it and i read it all the time so many talking about how they have a cellphone they don't need a CB radio. They point out how they can contact anyone in the world with their cellphone they can share photos to their relatives and friends even on the other side of the world. They can do transactions play games and even do videos and print from their cellphone. And so why should they have something like a CB radio. So why you ask? When the power goes out CB radios go right on working and that is because CB's transmit by antennas and their transmissions are received by all other CB antennas with in reach. CB radios are cheap they need no license to operate and once bought it never again cost a dime to use it. They are easy to install too and where all other form of communication will and do fail CB radios go right on working they will not.
