I’ve tried to take lessons from bad past experiences and not do the same to someone else.

For example I had one ex girlfriend ghosted me after dating for 9 months after a minor argument. A few years later I found myself in the reverse position (wanting to break up). Even though I didn’t want to see my soon to be ex face to face (because I knew she would go ballistic) I gave her the respect of doing it anyway.

She went nuclear and it lasted for an agonizing 2 hours. Culminated with her threatening to kill herself (she didn’t do it thank God). But I left knowing I did the right thing. I let her get everything off her chest. Gave her closure. Also her behavior sadly confirmed I made the right choice.

But I find that usually women use bad past experiences with men as an excuse to screw over innocent (ish) men they meet in the future. Like they are “evening the score” by getting back at an ex by screwing over an unrelated man.

Reason I say this my experience grown women in their 30s with emotional baggage actually get worse then older men who have similar bad experiences.

Let’s be clear. There is a fundamental difference between someone disagreeing with you vs. being a douche and insulting. Some people think that getting the answer they don’t want to hear is “trolling”. It’s not.

Trolling is when you are just being a douche who put zero thought into what the other person is saying and/or their position.

For example if I see an overweight girl post about “being picky” (yes I have seen this) I won’t insult her appearance. But I will tell her the truth that she has two options: she can either improve her physique or she can stay as is but she has to lower her standards. I won’t day something stupid like “just get on a treadmill you fat ass”. There are minority of guys out there who do that but its rare

But I notice many women on here who troll and tear into men with little regard over things guys have little control over (age, height, etc.). The word “creep” is there ace hole in one insult and they will use it despite the guy not saying anything sexual (it’s based on their bs “feelings”)

For me it's hard to say. I was talking about it with someone from China and they said that fear of getting their tech industry sanctioned was what made the CCP hesitant about invading Taiwan so now they have "nothing to lose" by doing so.

However, while sanctioning China from getting chips may have taken away America's economic leverage, from a military perspective, China has a lot more to lose now because now they would have to take a "brute force" approach to taking Taiwan. A brute force approach may work for a country like Ukraine, but I doubt it would work against Taiwan.

You could say that Russia is trying but failing to take a brute force approach to Ukraine but in reality Russia doesn't have the industrial base to brute force anything. They went in with a bunch of old Soviet equipment that keeps malfunctioning because it either had too many parts flogged off it or was rusted to shit because the soldiers stationed at the supply depot kept pencil whipping the maintenance reports. China however does have an industrial base and had it been them invading Ukraine and went in without high tech weapons, I'd say there's a 50/50 chance Kiev would have fallen by now.

But while China isn't Russia, Taiwan isn't Ukraine. Ukraine's border with Russia consists mostly of flat, open terrain while Taiwan is a Rugged Island with many defendable choke points and any invasion by China will see their forces funneled into these choke points, nullifying their numerical advantage.

The political significance of the 1991 Gulf War is debated but there was no doubt that it was a turning point in military history. That turn was away from the quantity over quality trend set by the industrial revolution (i. e. industrialized warfare) and it heralded the beginning of "mechanized warfare' where high tech precision weapons versus masses of tanks and warplanes win wars.
