So i joined a new CrossFit gym and there is a very attractive young lady I occasionally get into small talk with. She smiled a lot today when we chatted. She knows I like her. However she has never initiated conversation with me so far. I usually say hello first. But she does engage with me when I ask her what’s she been up to.

Truth is I literally have no idea how old she is. She could be 19 or should could be 30. I’m guessing I am 10 to 12ish years older. However I’m in excellent shape and I’ve gotten dates with younger woman before. She’s also witnessing me engage in an activity where I usually out perform all the other guys around me. That doesn’t hurt. I am a former profesional mma fighter.

Anyway I am looking for an opportunity to get to know her better. However given she’s very attractive I wouldn’t be surprised she already has a boyfriend. Would it better to ask about that first or would a guy look more confident if I just straight up asked for a date? If we were the same age I would just ask her out. But being that I’m older I’m more careful about this.

If I find out she has a boyfriend then I won’t pursue it any further. I usually run into her once or twice a week. I just don’t want to make the future awkward if I straight up ask her out and she turns me down. I won’t take it personally if she’s not interested. But I go to CrossFit to relieve exercise and I just want to avoid any future awkwardness/drama

see boyfriends helping to carry things like
shopping bags or handbags, ordering and
paying for food. I don't see their girlfriends
reciprocating, why is this so? Are the guys
whipped and she wears the pants in the
relationship? Or the guy has control or
insecurity issues and wanted to demonstrate
how capable he is in terms of strength and
wealth. Personally if I am out on a first blind
date with a girl, I feel it's only fair for guys if
both split or go dutch as both of them don't
know each other.
Who should pay and carry shopping bags on
a first date? I believe there should be give and take in a relationship and there should be equal opportunities for both gender to be able to things the opposite gender do

Say there's a guy you really find really attractive. He is neutral to you at first, but you drop a lot of really strong hints for him to get to know you better and take you out on a date. The guy is open-minded and figures "sure, why not?" and agrees to go out on a date with you. However, the afternoon before the date, he texts you and tells you that he always goes Dutch, meaning he only ever pays for his meals and you'll only ever pay for yours. He will NOT be paying for anything on your date, now or ever.

DOES THIS CHANGE YOUR VIEW OF HIM; SPECIFICALLY IN A NEGATIVE WAY?

Keep in mind, this does not involve the "we'll each take turns paying" scenario, since in this case, you persuaded him to ask you out on a date, even if he is still technically The Asker. This also does not involve the "only if the man insists on paying" scenario. If you are fine with paying yourself and the man insists anyway, then you're still option B.

I'm talking about any woman who has the expectation that the man must pay for you on your date and if you're forced to spend your own money, then you will feel slighted or negative towards him, including refusing him sex down the line, or even ghosting him.
