The whole premise of this website is to ask the opposite gender about dating and relationship questions. Given we are anonymous it’s easier to ask questions and get responses without worry about losing face.

And yet I find that most women I talk to do NOT often give good dating advice. I feel that they usually respond to “protect the team” i. e. tell me what to do which is in best interest to another random woman vs. really trying to understand my POV.

For what it’s worth it’s extremely difficult to think and understand the opposite gender. But I don’t always respond to “protect some other guy” depending on the circumstance a woman is going through and asking about.

Sometimes i see women talking about emotionally abusive relationships and encourage them to get tough and draw the line. They struggle because they have feelings which are compromising their judgment (can be true on the man’s side as well). But I don’t like seeing dbag guys get away with that crap. I sure as hell won’t tell the girl to keep enabling them.

But I feel that most women on here (and in general) always give the other woman the benefit of the doubt when they are giving advice to guys. Guys aren’t looking for the answer they want to hear on here. They want the truth so when we ask questions we rarely embellish our circumstances.

Anyway when I am dealing with tough dating situations I find that other men usually give better advice then women. Reason being they are feeling emotions I am feeling so they can look at issue more clear headed. It might be not what I want to hear. But what I NEED to hear. That is what matters.

This is just something I'm curious about and on my mind now. SO MANY WOMEN on GAG imply they have realistic standards and "just want a good man," yet so many others imply how they refuse to date short men or shorter-than-them, men who aren't wealthy (they justify it as "being independent/financially stable;" that's just code for "rich"), has rock hard abs, is an Alpha Male or asshole in personality, and so on.

When you look at the stats, 27-33 percent of men over 18 nowadays are still virgins. (Varies by region, but basically one-third of all modern Western men.) And while all this male loneliness and suicide is making feminists very, VERY happy, it's not a good overall sign for modern society.

Most men haven't changed much over the years, aside from the soyboys, "NuMales," and loser simps on OnlyFans. But women have changed drastically over the last twenty years; and generally for the worse. They are way more entitled, demanding, and arrogant now, due to a variety of different things such as feminism, social media, dating apps exaggerating their egos, simp culture and OF, and a lot of other factors. Respectable, classy women are becoming more and more rare nowadays, and the 'MODERN BITCH' is becoming more and more common.

This isn't even getting into how many women are lesbians (queer; "bis exual") or just hate all men (feminists) nowadays. It's more than just straight women being extremely entitled and spoiled. How many straight women are even still around anymore?

So, while this post is mostly for men, I'll leave it open to everyone. What do you think about modern straight women's expectations for men?

I understand that women get more matches, more easily on Tinder and because of biology it makes sense. I find 2 things frustrating about dating apps in general. The first is that very few women ever put any actual work into making a bio or really any effort at all, why is that? Not all guys are just super thirsty looking to hookup, finding out things you may like about the person shouldn't be left until after a match which brings me to my next frustration. I find it's always me putting the effort in to respond to messages timely or respectfully. If I don't message them and say good morning I don't hear from them, and this isn't only the first few messages, it's even after there's somewhat of a repoire built up texting off the app. It constantly feels like they don't actually want to be talking to me and I'm just supposed to be chasing them all the time which is emotionally frustrating to say the least. I'd like to hear from other guys to see if they experience this aswell and also from women to hopefully provide some insight as to why this is. I'm not saying it's not something I'm doing wrong but conversation is one of my strengths and I never fail to create interesting discussions. I'm very respectful and not creepy so I dont get it. I just can't for the life of me figure out what I could be doing wrong, is that just the way the world works now? I'm recently out of a 10 year marriage and am new to dating again. Thanks!
