Guys, how many girls out there actually want a realistic attainable guy with a good personality, versus the ones who want literal perfection?

This is just something I'm curious about and on my mind now. SO MANY WOMEN on GAG imply they have realistic standards and "just want a good man," yet so many others imply how they refuse to date short men or shorter-than-them, men who aren't wealthy (they justify it as "being independent/financially stable;" that's just code for "rich"), has rock hard abs, is an Alpha Male or asshole in personality, and so on.

When you look at the stats, 27-33 percent of men over 18 nowadays are still virgins. (Varies by region, but basically one-third of all modern Western men.) And while all this male loneliness and suicide is making feminists very, VERY happy, it's not a good overall sign for modern society.

One-third of all men now virgins and have never been in a relationship before.

Most men haven't changed much over the years, aside from the soyboys, "NuMales," and loser simps on OnlyFans. But women have changed drastically over the last twenty years; and generally for the worse. They are way more entitled, demanding, and arrogant now, due to a variety of different things such as feminism, social media, dating apps exaggerating their egos, simp culture and OF, and a lot of other factors. Respectable, classy women are becoming more and more rare nowadays, and the 'MODERN BITCH' is becoming more and more common.

This isn't even getting into how many women are lesbians (queer; "bis exual") or just hate all men (feminists) nowadays. It's more than just straight women being extremely entitled and spoiled. How many straight women are even still around anymore?

So, while this post is mostly for men, I'll leave it open to everyone. What do you think about modern straight women's expectations for men?

Hard to give a number. Here's where I see the problem: from early ages we're told that we need to 'save' ourselves for the right person; that we shouldn't settle for anything less than perfect. Our parents tell us as much. Teachers, the media, other women, etc. During our teen years, some of us learn to tell the difference between what we want and what we need. From there, it stems between what's realistic and what's perfection.

Many of those who strive for the 'perfect' man who's tall, hunky, masculine and successful end up getting in to abusive relationships more often than not and struggle to find a way out.

Without going in to sermon territory, I'll agree with you and say that there's too many women who stick to what they want so profusely to the point of detriment. Most won't realize their expectations are so unrealistic until they've gone though a handful shit relationships, but by then they're already bitching that all men are trash and blah blah

Washington post tributes the rise to the increasing age of the population, as well as the increase in people who are choosing to wait later in life to marry. But maybe there are just more young men these days who are not sluts and actually have morals, which would be absolutely awesome. If less people who are promiscuous or wish they could be promiscuous are having sex and passing on their genes, perhaps this country will finally start to recover from it's plaugue of sluts and fatherlessness.

Yeah, but then on the other end, you have OnlyFans and simp culture, which is the exact opposite of chaste men waiting for marriage. I personally don't think the reason is due to more abstinent men practicing celibacy AND simp-incels paying e-whores hundreds of dollars for simply existing, at the same time.

I think most women want a realistic attainable guy, it's just that there's still so many who want Mr. Perfect or something close, that you have to get past all the overachievers.. But, if you play the cards right even they can come back to reality.. I think as long as you have yourself put together, have a bit of charisma and masculine energy, and don't act like a simp, getting a woman should be fairly easy.

I really disagree with that. I have all of those things, but I'm also short and not exactly "handsome looking." I think you implied YOU were a Ladies Man in past answers, but for one out of three men (as the chart I showed proves), even getting free consensual sex is impossible. And this question is about actually dating, which is even harder than that. I forgot to mention that 52% of men over 18 are also single nowadays; which is the first time in history there's been more singles than couples.

Most women want to be treated good, but the issue here is, mens egos get in the way of personality. A guy has to work harder to prove themselves in the date ring, and many get fed up really fast because of men with egos ruin in for the serious guys.

My friend is very good with women. He has slept with hundred of women. Dating is very much a winner-takes-all game for men. I've seen the same dynamic on dating apps, where women flock to certain guys and see the rest of the men as an annoyance at best. It's dispiriting if you're not one of the lucky guys.

Also, women don't seem to understand or be honest about the extent of this. I've met women with crazy standards who seemed to have no idea that their standards were crazy. Like unemployed women with totally average looks chasing super hot guys..
