I have met a content creator. she is 24 years old. This is mainly via distance as she lives in another state. She streams on Twitch and she works on other platforms. We met at a party offline.

She has all these guys talking to her and some of them ask to marry her and things like this. One guy has even sent her a large gift of flowers

I asked her about the guy that sent her the flowers and she told me it is all a game and she could block him if I wanted her to and I said no to her blocking him because it’s her life.

I was a little nervous again so I asked her again and she said he’s just a friend and she showed me a text which said that he will support her on the platforms

I told her that I like her because I do and she said she does too and she will always choose me

Anyway - she says other things to him like she loves him and things like this and he’s even said to her mom that he is looking forward to meeting her mom. He is in another country

The guy is old enough to be her father and she has told me and others that she doesn’t want to be someone’s trophy wife and that she could never marry an older man because of this reason. She also said to people that older men usually have an agenda

I told her again for honesty to her the reason why I feel nervous about it is because I do like her and she told me that I must understand that it is just a game and that she needs me in her life. I have sent her some money to help support her here and there

she says I am her best friend

I take her word for it but I still don’t know what to do. I don’t care if he’s nothing to her but I just think like what if she is playing me too?

Follow up since a lot of people said me wanting a partner to at least try out my hobbies at least once wasn't a good standard to have. If they don't like it after that then thats fair. And i also would attempt to partake in their hobbies too of course. Especially if they have never tried it ever in their lives even before meeting your partner.

For me its not a requirement but could be a big positive for a relationship if they share in a few hobbies. they can create potential bonding moments.

My hobbies are mostly the nerdy ones like video games, comics, reading, table top board games etc.
