I felt like at the time it was mostly other confused teens and young adults trying to figure out what feeelings were. but that was an old account thar I have abandoned and forgotten how to login

I created this burner account to ask about my current social and some past mistakes but I feel like this site is a lot more toxic then it was 4-6 years ago. that's not to say it was great then. There were people asking for nudes or spilling there messy abusive relationships. but now this site seem more politized and angry. There are constant post on how feminism ruined everything or how every girl is a moody lying slut. there are very thinly veiled post about gender roles and society that try to pretend they're just about dating advice.

I know this kinda content isn't just on G@G, I always seen this on Youtube, Reddit and any densely male populated site. I also noticed that most of the replies to questions are more male. even on very popular questions. this entire place feels like I'm on r/redpill or r/askreddit or r/amI theasshole

I just feel like men have gotten angrier in general but I can especially see it on this site. I am wondering if it's the kinda of content I've been engaging with or if this is what everybody sees.

I’m in hybrid graduate school where we meet on campus in person for a couple of weeks every other month or so, and there’s ~95 people in my class. We all have communicated with each other throughout the first 6 months in this program either virtually and/or in person. I’m the president of the student community service group and a member of the student council, plus often do well academically (not showing off but giving you an idea on how much I communicate with the class regularly via email).

We’ve been here in person this past week at school and I knew there were a couple of people who’s birthdays are this week (mine is today). I asked 1 individual (she’s on the same school service group with me) Monday about plans of all 3 of us celebrating together so no one felt excluded, and she said she had no plans in mind at that moment. The following day, I asked the 2nd individual what he would’ve liked to do for all 3 of us and he said something similar. Yesterday, after classes, they both went out and had fun without including me knowing it was also my birthday and me asking them what they would want to do. The only reason why I know they celebrated without me is from a girl I’m staying at an Airbnb with that participated in their function without mentioning me/my birthday to them. I just don’t know how to go about dealing with them now and why would they do something like this. What do you think?
