I feel like brands and trends come and go, and just like the old fashioned diner or some other American retail brands that basically disappeared off the face of the earth, aren't McDonalds or KFC or Burger King, just like even established iconic car brands like Toyota or Ford, won't these eventually disappear, I mean just from consumer attitudes or "things come and things go" in another decade or two decades? I feel like even at age 30, 'the taste of Big Mac's, I barely feel like eating half of nowadays' after eating them so often especially from ages 18 to 25 with such a good metabolism.
The metabolism has slowly been fading of mine since my late 20s started around age 27 and in now 30. I weigh 4 kilograms heavier now than I did 3 years ago. Lol. Not that it 'shows' gratefully much. Yet it's on the decline lol, just like I wonder about brands or society. Is 30s year old me a symbol of the present and the future? Lol 😋 ♂️

So, I am a second-generation immigrant from a very traditional and conservative country, now living in one of the most liberal Western countries in the world. I am very grateful to be living here as the quality of life and opportunities are just a lot better; however, needless to say, the cultural differences are immense.

One of the things that always bothered me growing up was this "rush" to lose your virginity, especially as a guy. My friends would drag me along to clubs and stuff, and I'm not a bad-looking guy by any means, and opportunities for me to have "one-night stands" have presented themselves, but I never really had any interest in this.

Call me corny, but the idea of being intimate with someone I do not have a very strong emotional connection with, someone who couldn't be my wife in the future, did not appeal to me.

Guys talk about this stuff, and I am open about this in my friend group as I don't feel like lying about it, but I find myself being the subject of "virgin" jokes quite often, especially considering my age (which isn't an abnormal thing in my home country).

Now, I know it's all in good fun and I know they have no malicious intent, but I can't help but wonder if this would be a problem for potential future mates. So my question to you girls is, if a guy you were dating in his mid to late twenties said he was a virgin, would you immediately associate that with negative attributes? Would this be a problem or perhaps not your first choice, would you be indifferent or heck even prefer it?
