Search Results: being too nice

Philadelphia is a city known for it's extremely, extraordinarily unattractive, hideously ugly people (though you could argue that extends to character mostly, and not just looks). The Philly men aren't so bad; pretty much dead-average looks; Will Smith, Kevin Hart, Bradley Cooper, Kobe Bryant, Bob Saget, Kevin Bacon, Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, etc. Philly females though?

... Which makes sense, if you ever actually lived in this sh*thole toilet of a town. Put it this way: Take all the worst parts of Los Angeles and southern California. Make them lower middle class and honest, instead of upper class and phony. And THAT'S what Philly is like. And most Philly residents are proud of being assholes who'd put the residents of Springfield to shame.

You know the show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and how's it's supposed to be a more lower-class version of Seinfeld? Well, Seinfeld's cast was actually way too nice and phony to depict actual 1990s New Yorkers. And It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the same way; "The Gang" are waaaaaaaaaaay too nice and well-adjusted to depict actual South Philly Italians spittin' in ya cheesesteaks.

So yeah. Since Philadelphia is an ugly, ugly, UGLY urban city of filth and liberalism, I'd like to know which of the most attractive female celebrities from there, would you consider the best looking? Cause Philly females don't go higher than a 6 (if that). Hell, the men don't even go higher than a 7, like I said.

It's often that you'll hear people say to "never settle" when it comes to dating. People also criticize others for being too picky--like telling a friend that they're pushing away great people over a long checklist of qualifications.

So my question to you is: what should we do? should we settle for someone who doesn't meet our original expectation for a boyfriend/girfriend/spouse, or should we wait it out and hope for that special someone that we've always imagined to come along?

Just as some thoughts:

Merits to settling include: making it easier to get into a nice relationship. Giving an ordinarily overlooked persona a chance, and breaking the trend of leaving "average" people alone and dsingle, in favor of clamoring after the people that everyone else already likes.

Merits to never settling include preventing a relationship with a dissatisfying partner, avoiding regrets in your relationship, and being absolutely certain that your choice of partner was the best.
