I drunkily confessed to this guy that I liked him n told him if he wanted to stay as friends that's fine too I apologized to him for making it awkward and uncomfortable
The next morning he texts me saying "I wouldn't want to throw away the relationship we have now to anything silly. So stop apologizing to me also dummy" Ofc that hurt my feelings but what can you do it was said n done I tried keeping it light hearted and funny about how sick I felt because of the night before he responded by saying to make sure I hydrated
We were in the middle of texting but then he stopped writing I didn't wanna seem overly worried so I decided not to text I waited till nighttime to ask him if he was doing okay n that if he needed space I'll leave him be
It wasn't till 3 or 4 in the morning he texted me back saying "sorry I was busy all day doing this etc." we went back to talking about random stuff n he tried being a little flirty with me calling me baby n such I didn't really know how to respond so I told him I was going to bed
The next afternoon he texts me saying that hopefully I slept well
Later that night he texts me asking if I wanna cuddle with him I should've responded by saying no but I folded so hard I said yes *sigh*
Ngl the conversations we have now are slow in terms of texting maybe I'm just overthinking things apart of me feels confused I want to tell him to stop flirting with me but I like having his company it's nice I still have feelings for him n he doesn't feel the same maybe I misread this whole thing I just don't understand why he would say certain stuff in text like really really personal private stuff he would call me drunk telling me how much he misses me, how he wants to hold me n make me laugh even sober he tells me that now he doesn't even say that anymore after I told him how I felt I feel like I messed up
