27F, it’s odd and just unlucky considering most women don’t have to bat an eye when it comes to dating. I’ve been on and off the apps for years, I’ve recently come to point where I just put minimal effort. Minimal as in sending a message 2-3 days max and swiping on profiles maybe every other week. So I'm 33 and just was talking to a 27 year old. Im working and hustling and whereas he helps out with his parents cleaning business part time.

Everytime we go on dates I pay for everything except the one time he paid which is fine. I don't mind paying. I took him on adventures to places he's never been.

His parents lost a major contract and I tried to give him some help to get them back on their feet by offering to design and build a marketing campaign for them. He didn't take the offer which is fine.

I feel that I may be used as a sugar mommy and we had a date planned but I cancelled because I fear that I may play a role as the rescuer.
I have love for him and I care about him so much. I want to be his friend and be there for him. Am I horrible for leaving him at this time? I'm doing it tactfully and limiting my access to him until I move on. We haven't had sex yet and I don't think I will.
