Men in my area used to always wear shorts that were well below the knee, with the absolute shortest acceptable length being knee-length. It was kind of an unspoken rule for men to never let shorts go above their knees.

One day though, starting in around 2020 or so, men in my area began suddenly wearing shorts that were well above the knees and showed some thigh. It was a seemingly overnight change. I thought it would be a trend that went away quickly, but it stuck... and not gonna lie, I REALLY don't like it.

Like obviously other people can wear what they want, but I absolutely HATE how it looks. I don't quite know how to describe why, but it makes men look so... naked? It just looks too revealing. I just don't think men's thighs are a feature that need to be shown off. It's like the male equivalent of women wearing butt cheek shorts.

Like the 3 guys in the above photo, I think they would look IMMENSELY better if their shorts at least went to their knees or slightly below. They just kind of look like they're in their boxers, I guess?

That's not the main issue though. You can't even find the longer men's shorts anymore. My male friends told me this when I asked them about the length of men's shorts these days, and I checked the men's section and could confirm. You just couldn't find anything longer than a 9 inch inseam.

And yeah... I'm just really not liking this trend. If I had a boyfriend I'll make sure he never wears shorts that go above his knees... he'll be allowed to wear knee-length or below the knee shorts only! Lol okay no, not really, he can wear whatever he wants, but I'll just verbalize to him that I REALLY don't like it. I don't necessarily want him to change his fashion choices just to please me, but hopefully I incentivize him to at least TRY longer shorts, and/or buy at least a couple.

TL;DR- I'm just absolutely NOT a fan. I don't know, men's thighs are just not particularly attractive to me.

Seriously guys age shame women all the time online everyone has seen it. These same guys guys get offended and CRY when women don’t want to date poor, ugly, or SHORT MEN.

A few weeks ago while I was casually on IG, I commented on a post, which had many likes, many people wrote to me privately, and sent me requests, some of which I accepted, I have a business and these opportunities are good to promote my products, long story short a man wrote to me, he seemed very respectful, gentleman and decent, he told me how he liked my comment and so on, I told him about my business and he seemed interested in my products, we talked about many topics such as current society , politics, and so on, but then he told me that he wanted me to sell him my shoes (heels), he told me that he liked my elegance a lot. I was very direct from the beginning and told him about my husband, and he told me that my husband is a very lucky man, but I didn't like something about him, he told me that he wanted me to take advantage of him monetarily, and honestly I felt uncomfortable and blocked him, yesterday I received a call from a European country, I immediately thought of him, how did he got my number? I was terrified, it gives me Joe Goldberg vibes, is this normal? is this guy an obsessed person?

He has a crush on me but I found out that his dream girls and his former crushes (he was obsessed with) were all tall skinny blondes while I am a short Asian girl.

I think he thinks I don’t like him because I ignored his obvious stares and now suddenly stopped. I hesitate to approach him because Im afraid that I’ll not be good enough and always Second best to him while he to me is the most handsome man I’ve seen and totally my type.

I also know that he doesn’t have much relationship experience and since I am also so different from his dream girl type I am afraid that he sees me as an experiment or a stepping stone to better women. What do you think and what should I do?
