I have been meditating as part of trying to be a professional fighter. i have learned a lot. People hear me say stuff like "logical and emotional thoughts should both seek the same end." And theyre like "wow you're not only the most beautiful guy alive, you are einstein 2.0."

I haven’t always been the best person in relationships, but lately I feel like I’ve gotten much better and am ready for a serious one. I had a coworker tell me I’m “hubby material” because of my demeanor, work ethic, appearance, and emotional intelligence, but I’ve never felt that the girls I end up with feel the same. One reason is probably because I move too fast sexually, but I feel like because I’m not the biggest size-wise, if anything goes wrong in a relationship a woman is quicker to move on from me. When I see girls from the past, there are some who still show to be interested if I make the move and jump through a hurdle or two (if they’re not seriously dating). Where as with other guy friends that are more “blessed”, they have girls who will stop talking to them for various reasons but then end up reaching back out themselves within days or weeks for what seems to be just for the sex.

My own standards are to date someone who is on par with me more or less. I’m not perfect. Not a saint. I’ve been told I’m attractive but I know I’m no young Brad Pitt. However I am independent, got a good job, in good health, have a very interesting past and some fun hobbies.

There was only one time in my life I found a woman who was truly on par with me. It tragically didn’t work out because she met me at a bad time in my life. There was also one time I swung for the fences in college and went after a girl who was “out of my league.” She actually approached me first but I had zero game back then and screwed it all up.

But anyway virtually all the women I’ve met who were really into me in last few years weren’t exactly on par. However most of them were confident I would like them. I tried dating a girl who I saw potential in but she had very serious emotional issues (family abuse) that I wasn’t equipped to handle.

Anyway confidence is great. But why is it that women seem to daydream unrealistically about they are entitled to in dating vs. men?
