I feel like my mom isn’t supportive and doesn’t care about me sometimes. Am I overreacting?

My mom finds so many excuses to not do things with me and has always been this way. Even when I was in high school she’d go away on weekends with guys she was dating and leave me all alone. Whenever I needed her support through a breakup or any emotional issues she would just tell me I’m pouting and would just tell me to leave her out of it. She never came to like any events of mine growing up, like for school. All the other parents would go and I’d constantly be asked where my mom is.
I had to go on a medical leave of absence one month from work. She didn’t come see me once and I live alone in the city. Like wouldn’t parents be concerned if their child wasn’t in a good situation like that?
She does the bare minimum in terms of supporting me. I have a horse riding competition in early June and she is finding so many excuses not to go with. It’s just weird because every other girls parents are with them and seem excited and devoted to it.
Any time I confront my mom about an issue relating to this she just shuts down and gets annoyed, even fake cries and says she has a headache.

Seems she doesn't want to be present when you participate or in an event in life , i would suggest not to beg to her to visit or participate , show her the results , like if you win the horse competition post it on Instagram and let society people tell her that you have won , don't tell her directly , surround yourself with people who care for your success , let you mom realise how special you are , if you keep on begging to her to come she will have the ultimate power , you just inform and let the power shift on your side , she won't be there beside you entire life , so have a good friend circle who pushes you to next level.
