This woman and I hit it off really well. She then asked me out to get coffee with her. The day before she said let’s do dinner instead. The day we were supposed to get dinner she didn’t text me at all. The next day she texted me and said she was really sorry and said let’s take a spontaneous trip to the next city over. We drove up and the whole ride she held my hand and caressed me. She booked us an air bnb for the night and we cuddled all night. On the drive back home the next day she did the same thing in the car. When I dropped her off I went in for a kiss and she said no so I said ok. She didn’t text me at all the day but then drunk called me that night. I went made sure she ate and drank water. The next day she went to the E. R. I picked her up and took her home. The next day she asked me to come over so we could make pancakes but when I pulled up she didn’t respond to my text turned out she fell asleep. She invited me over again this time she apologized for being all over and said she’s moving to New York. I told her I really liked her she said she really liked me and we slept together. That night she text me again asking me to come over and we sleep together again. A few days later it’s her last day and she asks me to spend the night with her. we have sex again, shower together and cuddle all night. She tells me she’s gonna call and text all the time, that she’s gonna miss us hanging out, and that she doesn’t wanna go. We wake up the next morning have sex one last time and she leaves. She texted me all day while she was traveling and when she got there she trailed off. Now she texts me “hey, how’re you” I respond then don’t hear from her until she asks me again a few days later. She occasionally likes my post on social media and even commented hearts on one picture. I really don’t know what’s up with her though. Anything you guys have to share will help.

A lot of people don’t believe in Karma. I myself have gotten more doubtful over years. There is a zero sum aspect to this world that is unfortunately true. Sometimes you have to step on heads to get ahead. You may or may not have a conscience. If you do have one maybe you have to contend with a guilty conscience. But that seems like a minor price to pay for a lot people given the benefits they can get for their actions.

Anyway I notice people who burn the other gender often make bs excuses for actions because they themselves have been burned in the past. It’s a bullshit excuse because the reality you have with is with that one person and it’s just between you and them. You are not “getting back” at the man or woman who burned you by mistreating an unrelated man or woman. You are not getting your “revenge” You are just harming a person who doesn’t deserve it.

I often blame women for this adolescent behavior. But when I’m brutally honest with myself I confess there have been a few isolated incidents I have done this in my own life. It was particularly during my man whore phase in my late 20s/early 30s. I was never a liar. But I would play dumb with women who I knew wanted a relationship when I just wanted to get laid. I felt some mild guilt about it and but I buried that by remembering how many women burned me for being a “nice” guy in my early 20s. I figured it was “my turn” to enjoy the one way benefits.

But that was wrong. Bottom line is this is really just contributing to a “dog eat dog” shitty cycle that’s making things worse and worse for men and women. We look at scoring one for “our team”. In reality when you screw over someone else in dating they might screw over someone else at some point. There is more distrust. More hate. More selfishness. More toxic femininity. More toxic masculinity.

But Mother Nature meant to bound men and women together for companionship and reproduction. It’s NOT a “my team vs. your team”. It’s supposed to be two halves to a whole.

I want to be a bad guy. The kind of guy that might cheat. I’m a nice guy currently. Is that even possible?
