I read a terrible article called "why can't we hate men?" which said that women have a right to hate men, because men have wronged us via patriarchy. I was bothered by the article because, with a few exceptions (rapists etc who comprise a minority of men) men have overall made women's lives better, not worse (men make most inventions etc).

I was wondering if seeing women espousing this BS can lead certain men dislike our entire gender (although a lot of us don't agree).

Of course the same is possible, the other way around. I do also see a lot of men generalize all women, because a minority of women "divorce-rape" men, make false accusations, etc. I wonder if seeing these sorts of comments can make women dislike men as a gender.

So, when you hear sexist remarks by people of the other gender, towards your own gender, does it make you dislike the entirety of the other gender?

I don’t know what is wrong with me. I’m 23 and don’t really have any friends. Never had a boyfriend. And people tell me that I’m pretty. Men and women. But the men that have pursued me either led no where because there is no connection or I just do not have an interest in them. I know of girls that have bunches of suitors and that has never been me. I know I’m not a model by any means but why am I so invisible to guys when I seem to get all these compliments? Are they lying to me?
