Here's my story:

I attended a fun summer daycare (not for babies) and met my crush there. I was hanging out with my best friend while she chatted with the person in charge. That person told me, "You are the shyest person I have ever met. Well, you and [my crush]." I was curious, asking myself, who could that be? The very next day, he sat next to me on the bus. He's pretty cute, and I began to develop feelings for him.

A whole year passed, and I hadn't revealed my crush or talked to him. Finally, I gathered the courage to tell my sisters. This turned out to be a mistake. They told my best friend and then my crush. When my best friend and I discovered that my sister spilled the beans to my crush, she insisted that I talk to him (for the very first time!). I said, "I don't know what she's talking about. I have nothing to say to you." I was so mean and embarrassing, right?

After that, his behavior became quite strange. He would always be right in front of or behind me in line, sit across from me on the bus, and twice, he followed me around when my best friend was out sick or something. One time, after being away for two weeks, I returned and was walking to the end of the line when I turned to see him staring and smiling widely at me. I literally jumped!

A few years later, on a Monday, I told the person in charge that my last day would be that Wednesday, and my crush stood next to her, looking a bit sad. Typically, we'd go to the pool on Wednesdays, but he always skipped because he didn’t like it or something. However, on that Wednesday, he came, but only to avoid going to the pool. He stayed out of the pool and watched everyone else swim (including me!). (It was my last day, not everyone else’s, which made me suspicious.) Later that day, at pickup, he stood in the middle of the hallway and watched me leave. So, what do you think? Does he like me back, or am I just imagining things? ❤

I was sexually assaulted in the waiting line in a grocery shop by an Ukrainian refugee, he grinded on me, at first I thought I was imagining things or that maybe it's normal in his country to stay very close in waiting line but when I felt his breathing growing very heavy on my neck / ear and felt him lean on me more and more I had no doubt anymore but did not fight back, I just moved of line.

Does it count as sexual assault since I did not say anything? Should I even bother to do anything? I do not want to be a mean person as I know Ukraine is at war and ptds and stuff and crazy but it did really made me uncomfortable too I was alone and he was with 3 others Ukrainian men (I'm guessing they were all friends or they were together during army service, my country train Ukrainian soldier and there's a military base near where I live). So if I say anything I have no one on my side and he have three people, also I feel bad for them I don't want them to be hurt or anything but what the guy did is not good.

These are two scenarios that can happen in real life. Which one would do you think it's worse:

1) Something very serious took place and not even your parents believed you. They think you're making it up and exaggerating things. You're told to just get over it and stop imagining things. You end up suffering in silence as a result while the wrongdoer is getting away with it, doing it over and over... and you're not believed. An example would be the case of a sick uncle molesting you as a minor and not getting believed at all.

2) Nothing ever happened but the person falsely framed someone, getting them fired from their jobs and even jailed. For instance a 15 year-old girl was following her teacher, even got his address, even asking to be with him in exchange for good grades. He never reciprocates, still fails her when she does poorly on exams and on her school works. Pissed off, she files a false harassment charge. Her parents and everyone believes her and the teacher is fired, jailed, ruined.
