I’m doing this thing now where if I have question I just ask it. It can create issues but not as much in my opinion as not asking. In the past I never asked questions bc I felt like people make assumptions on your questions which MAY be true but not asking stuff doesn’t help me at all sooooo even if I avoid giving the wrong impression by not asking - which is debatable - i still walk away with no info. So now I just ask 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyhow, in this situation I asked why, not bc I thought he shouldn’t ask, I just wasn’t sure why he was asking it I don't know I didn’t really think about why I asked why I just asked.

And I don't know why he didn’t know 😂 or maybe he said it without thinking but he could’ve just said that. I knows I love the MONH so it wasn’t a weird thing for him to ask.

Is it strange to not know you’re asking someone if they want to do something?

we get along well he’s nice I have no problem with him. We’ve known each other for almost a year so I was caught off guard for sure…

I live in an intimate building setting with my family.

The superstar family has a son that's getting hotter by the minute.

He always has a dreamy smile and isn't fake when he sees me around and says hi ni matter what.

I would say 70% of the time he's like this. The other 30% he won't say hi or just pass me by but then he will stare.

His mom really seems to like me and has always asks me personal questions and she and her daughter (his sister) always say how pretty I am.

He gave me the weirdest look the other day like just this freeze stare no smile. Odd.

Then he went back to being extra courteous like usual.

I am probably wasting precious moments even thinking about him. Thoughts?

New scenario and a followup to the parent question (in which I said I would disown both the friend and parent)… I never understood why some guys/girls wouldn’t be cool with their friend dating their sibling. Like why are they good enough to be a friend but not good enough to be an in-law?

I fell for a lot of few of my best friend’s brothers and although the friend was supportive because they knew I had good intentions, their parents felt otherwise. With one friend, her mom constantly referred to me as her “daughter” but the moment I took interest in her son (which she didn’t find out until like years later when my mom ratted out our interest in eachother) then the mom said I was no longer allowed to come over to her house. I didn’t understand why i was good enough to be her “daughter” but not her “daughter in law”. It was even more weird because her youngest son liked my little sister and she seemed supportive of that. I liked her middle son and he seemed to like me but was shy about it while her oldest son made it clear that he liked me. And she had an issue with either of them liking me.

So for those who would not want their friends dating their siblings, why not if you trust them enough to befriend them? (And just for this scenario, pretend that your friend and sibling are in the same age range to make things less awkward. And if you don’t have a sibling just pretend you do) #FeelFreeToList
