Was Y being jealous or am I delusional?

There is this guy Y and I’ve liked him for a few years. And his best friend z is my best friend. Few months ago Z mentioned Y liked me then hurried up and back tracked. Y is always a little mean but also a bit controlling like once I took a nap and he called me 10 times to see where I was and then called my friend to ask. Or whenever I talk about a man he’ll get kinda annoyed. But yesterday Y picked up his cousin while we hung out. Ys cousin (we will call him A) always tries to touch me without fail. Today Y started making comments towards A and A told him stop being jealous several times. Then Y started making jokes about how all he thinks about is me with his cousin there and his cousin was like it’s true. Eventually Ys cousin goes to sleep.
Me and Y are sitting in the car and he starts asking me questions like have I smashed his cousin and why I let him touch me (half the time I was pushing him off and it wasn’t anything too weird) A minute later Y asked me how his cousin was touching me and it was just a stern shoulder and neck rub so I did it for a minute to Y. Then he was like that feels good. Then he started doing it to me and getting closer. In the 3 years I’ve known him that’s never happened. Do you guys think he’s jealous or maybe he likes me?

Wow dude, that whole situation sounds super weird and confusing. A few things stick out to me:

- Y has definitely acted jealous and controlling of you in the past, like with the constant calls when you were napping and getting annoyed when you talk about other guys. That's a red flag.

- Him making those jokes about you and his cousin in front of his cousin was pretty immature and disrespectful.

- And then grilling you about what his cousin was doing and how you were touching seems like he was reallyworked up about it for sure.

It really seems like Y has feelings for you but doesn't want to admit it. Guys don't usually act that possessive and jealous over a girl they're just friends with. The touching and getting close stuff in the car was probably his way of like marking his territory after seeing his cousin flirting with you.

I'd say there's a good chance he does like you as more than a friend, even if he won't say it. But you gotta be careful too cuz that jealous, controlling behavior is not cool either. If you like him back maybe try having a serious talk to see where you both stand. Otherwise I'd be cautious proceeding since he seems a bit unpredictable when he gets jealous. Tread lightly!

These are both awful men who are mentally and physically abusing you!

They both like you in a very unhealthy way! Please get clear of these guys and find a healthy relationship and man who won't assault you or let his cousin assault you!

Men like those turn to tape very fast and are cowards! His cousin will rape you given the chance!

Next time pepper spray or a tazer! If you date the cousin he will ask you to give his cousin who is touching you sex... These men are toxic pigs like that!
