I’m not for them starving or homeless, but I hate when they vote idiots like Trump in because they’re afraid of competing for the bottom rung of society with immigrants (who actually work), I get testy.

We have practically free learning…going to waste. Every poor person can put the time in to learn a new trade. But they are LAZY.

So I personally miss a lot of the good answers that older women used to give on GaG years ago. So much has changed with the demographics on the Internet and social media since then, and a post-COVID world has made people a little less human.

Once upon a time you used to see really great answers on this site from females but especially the older ones in their 40s and up that were rich and detailed with serious life perspective and experience about men. Even if you didn't always agree with their thoughts, there was always something you could get out of it. Plus I would have tons of great discussions with them in DM, and not just here but on other old dead sites too like Answerbag and ExperienceProject.

I feel like most women's answers nowadays lack that depth because many are inexperienced even if they are dating or having sex, or at least not learning about either themselves or men from those experiences. Many give answers only just to have something snarky to say that bears no real life knowledge, or their only response is to attack some guy and call him an incel, or they give literal two or three word answers. It just looks like you haven't learned a lot in life that you can offer anyone.

But what do you guys think? Who do you feel like gives the best sex/relationship advice or perspectives on GaG?

There is so much content and free or cheap education on the web now. Skillshare, Khan Academy, etc. We are not a country where you just show up for 8 hours and get told what to do, go home and finance a family of four. Those days are over.

It’s about how smart you are, adaptable and what you can do for the people who have money and no time to do it themselves.

White Collar/Blue Collar line has been redrawn. White collar are the skilled knowledgeable workforce who could be considered artisans. Like my plumber, my lawn guy, carpenter, etc.

My clients do this on a macro level. They don’t want to learn marketing and what it takes to sell their brand or product. So they call me. I have that skill set.

If you are a Trump Voter wanting your coal mining job back, factory job post 7, widget 4…. bad news that’s being done by a Chinese toddler.

It’s about knowledgeable intelligence. Not the bicep…the brain stem.

Morality is a subject that triggers some people, I presume because they are susceptible to being called immoral. For me, morality is built upon some assumptions about fundamental values and behaviors which define "right" and "wrong." It was taught to me by my elders when I was a young boy and it hasn't changed as I've gotten older. I do not have the privilege of adapting morality so that it is convenient for my life, and morality may be quite inconvenient at times. And in a system of morals, as I understand morals, the answer to the question is almost never "it depends."

Most religions have an inherent code of morality, though not all religious people either accept or follow the code. And a person need not have a religion to be a moral person. Some religious adherents apply the code in a way that defies the teachings of the religion (e. g., the Westboro Baptist Church protests at military funerals) and those who are not religious use those examples to criticize all religions. But there are many religious people who attempt to follow a moral code. . . and some of them are slammed for their behavior.

Yes, simply believing in a moral code might place you at odds with those around you, and actually following that code increases the odds. It's not easy. I try to be a moral person, and my dedication to that ideal has increased as I have gotten older. However, I do not claim to follow my moral code without fail, but I do try to learn from my mistakes and not repeat them. I don't do it because it is easy. I do it because I think it is the right thing to do.
