Do you believe God protects the children from choosing the wrong people in marriage and dating?

I realize the dreams I had about marriage when I was younger are coming true now. For example, I dreamed that at some point, most of my friends would be female and I would no longer socialize in mixed gender groups and this was around the time my husband would begin chasing me. This was dream was around 15 years ago.

I dreamed I would get a guy when I stopped my aggression and I dreamed if I learned both self control and kindness I would go to Harvard and that if I did one thing with my life, I would get the guy and not the other girls. What I mean is a secret.
