I've read a few books on evolutionary biology / psychology. From what I understand a woman is primarily attracted to a man that posses wealth and social status. So my question is wouldn't it be hypocritical for me to ask a woman to fulfill my fantasies (intimacy) when I currently am unable to fulfill her's? Sure she could roll the dice with me in hopes that I become successful but why would a woman gamble when they could just flirt and attract a man that is in his mid 40s that is already well established into his career and can immediately fulfill her fantasies of being with a guy that posses wealth and social status?

Also worth mentioning I don't plan on having kids anytime soon and women are only fertile for about a 1/3 of their lifespan. This window of opportunity is quite limiting. By the time I am ready to have kids she will be towards the end, or maybe even past, her reproductive window.

I ask these things because I am getting along really well with this woman at work. I am 25 by the way. Getting my associates degree in computer programming by the end of this semester and will transfer to uni and pursue comp sci full time. So I currently do not posses wealth nor social status also at the age of 23 I got a vasectomy because for much of my life I've wanted to kill myself so the thought of having kids seemed completely contradictory why should I create life when I don't much enjoy my own?

Psychologically speaking I am MUCH better. I now want to live. I did a stupid amount of LSD on my first time with the substance and lets just say the lexicon of the English language lacks the complexity to accurately describe just how absolutely terrible the trip was. Nothing within this realm of existence can come even remotely close to the horrors of that night alone in my apartment. Took me a few days to piece back together who I am and about a year and a half for the PTSD symptoms to fade. I did it shortly after getting vasectomy. But I digress.
