Haha. The world is corrupted! XD.
Different doesn't mean inequal
yes but it means they can't be treated 100% equally in those aspects
@Jxpxtxr
So what is your point with this?
I just found that many people on here didn't really seem to understand what gender equality can be applied to and what it can't be applied to, hence after reading this might have a better idea of the whole concept
@Jxpxtxr
ok, in my opinion gender equality is exclusively a matter of legal rights. If men and women are equal before the law, we have equality, if not, we don't.
As you indicates with this take, to take equality furtherer is subjective. Equality socially and economically can't be done to perfection, for one reason alone, not two people are alike hence no two gropes of people are alike. Sociality is so diverse that you can't speak of equality, in some families and gatherings, men are ratted higher, elsewhere women are, in some cases it's total equality... and no political campaigns will change that in a free country.
Economically difference are mostly socially based and can't be completely equal by definition since is based on both skills and choices, only opportunities can be equal. So small difference will always exist in the statistics, today men and women have economic equality in almost every western country, if we take into account all the difference.
You also have small income gabs based on state, industry and occupation, education, age, race, height and weight... complete equality is an illusion in a free society based on capitalism, can't be done.
Complete equality requires totalitarianism and socialism, where the state can enforce equality, by using inequality as a tool. Most people won't accept a totally equal society, besides it would violate every constitution in the western hemisfear.
This solid info. Great take :)
Great take dude!
