Why victimization needs to stop

Why victimization needs to stop.

There's been a huge trend that is killing cultures everywhere and that is victimization. There's been this fad where everyone is trying to be a victim, or a martyr of some sort.

Whenever people have these gender disputes it is constantly an argument of "My life sucks more than yours therefore I'm a better person." People don't realize they sound like this but they do. Not many people are truly strong anymore and it's really killing things for others. If you're ever wondering why there aren't many confident people anymore this has a lot to do with it. People would rather try to degrade their own confidence by making it seem like they "have it so tough" instead of rising above challenges they are faced and become strong and confident. You'll see people losing arguments all the time and the tactic of victimizing themself is what they turn to. So when you see these gender disputes it turns into a bunch people from each side going on about how "hard they have it" and it just shows you how weak each person is.

We really need to become stronger as a society or people are just going to make themselves out to be weaker and weaker. This trend really needs to stop. There's nothing "courageous" or "heroic" about victimizing yourself. It's a huge turn off. It's a desperate attempt for sympathy and a means of deflecting the issues that are going on. Who really wants to date a weakling? There's nothing attractive about it unless the person's just looking for someone to control and manipulate. People can't be "independent" when they're desperately trying to make themselves look like they can't even stand on their own two feet.

It's not about being the most super confident and cocky person possible. It's just about being an all around good person overall. Someone who is strong enough to stand up for themself but doesn't need to act helpless to get what they want. Society's got enough whiners, let's not create anymore of those. Let's teach people who to handle a confrontation for once and to face the facts in front of them. Let's teach responsibility. Let's learn how to take care of ourselves. If we don't do something now it's only going to get worse. We shouldn't aim to be the biggest victim possible. We should aim to be the strongest people we can be.
