Four Marines, One Shipmate

I just want to express my condolences to the five victims from the Chattanooga shooting last week. Words cannot express sadness. If they were allowed guns in those two buildings, perhaps this may not have happened. I'm glad that shooter got killed, he's a piece of shit. I hate him, I really do. Why forgive if he was merciless in the way he killed them? I get so angry over these situations. Oorah my fellow Marines and Shipmate. Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it, it flies with the last breath each soldier died protecting it. I want to share the last part of the Soldier's poem because these four lines impact so many of us:

And when he gets to Heaven,

To Saint Peter He will tell,

Just another soldier reporting, sir,

I've served my time in Hell.

Please remember that this shooting has impacted me in a very sad way. One of the Marines had gone through boot camp with me and, even though we were not that close, to know someone that you knew was killed ruthlessly, hurts a lot.

Sorry to hear about that man, it sucks but hopefully makes you stronger But damn you need to get your head screwed on. How the fuck do more guns prevent shooting. Its like saying if we just give everyone crack, there won't be anymore dealers. America has some serious insecurity, either that or just mental health problems. People don't go "hey, you can't take guns in that store, lets go shoot it up so we don't get shot at in return".

Guns make up 3% of all violence in the United States. I bet that if criminals knew we had a gun on us, they would be deterred away from robbing, etc. Crack is a totally different subject since it's illegal. Guns are not illegal if you have a carry permit. The boy in Charleston probably would not have killed those innocent people if he knew that, for example, five of them had guns. Gun control is bullshit because it violates the 2nd Amendment and, if you're an American, you should know that.

thank bloody god I am not American then, because the amendment was made back in the day when everyone carried muscats. Now days the government has an entire military with weapons that the public could never get their hands on. SO you amendment was basically kept alive to maintain stupidity. The reason the amendment was made was so the government could not turn on the people without the people having the right to defend themselves. Have fun shooting your 9mm at a drone when it comes to blow you all up.

Also the gun kill rate in America solely by police has just reached 500. Im not dumb enough to go by statistics because 99.9% of statistics are bullshit. So if 3% is 500 in 6 months. then your country has a serious problem.

Every country has problems. buddy. It's not just the US. Guns were made back in the 1700s, and they're still made in the 2000s today. I respect your opinion. I think you have reality twisted a bit.

I am sorry for your loss, it always saddens me that soldiers like you survive some of the most horrific and dangerous situations on earth, only to come home and be killed in the country they served to protect and by the people he fought to protect. And for what because guns weren't allowed in the building, if they had maybe your friend would still be alive, further strengths my feelings against gun control and makes me glad my state has constitutional carry.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. Unfortunately, due to the President, this will happen a lot because our president is a coward. I agree, we need to be able to have guns in recruiting offices.

Don't worry his time is almost up, I just hope we can get a good god fearing man in office, who will do what is necessary for the betterment of the country and it's people, I agree with the latter as well.

I am so sorry for your loss, this is the first I have heard about this shooting and though I didn't know any of them this angers me as well. Especially when there are conflicts over "police brutality" even though the bad guy was reaching for his gun they blame his death on racism though he wasn't complying to the law. Our military is dying and people should focus more on that because thats the shit that counts.
