Your reasons for wanting to join the Corps are common: being a part of something bigger yourself and being able to carry the title of United States Marine for the rest of your life is impressive.
For anxiety disorders a person cannot enter the armed services if they needed any inpatient care, or outpatient care for more than 12 months cumulatively. They must not have needed any treatment for their anxiety disorder in the past 36 months. That you are currently taking medication is not promising for enlistment.
Even so, discuss everything with your recruiter, who will have the most updated information. Good luck.

Aside from the points already made...
1) Look at the places and the reasons US Marines were sent into combat over the last decade. What percentage of those causes do you consider worth risking your life for?
2) Do you honestly trust the leadership not to send you to some shithole that has nothing to do with you, your country, or your loved ones, just to put holes in some people who simply don't want foreigners treading on them?
I'm not knocking anyone who chooses to serve. I'm just saying I don't honestly think it's a safe bet that the military and civilian leadership and their decisions will only put the enlisted men in harm's way for good reason. That has rarely proven to be the case.
No.
Even if they somehow get you through with some type of waiver, or you lie..
Please don't join if you already have problems with anxiety.
It'll just get 100x's worse when you join and you'll be miserable.
There are other ways to get unique experiences, other ways to toughen up, military gear may "look cool" but it ain't all sunshine and roses when you have to wear it for hours/days/weeks/months, and there are other things you can do in life to make yourself proud.
It really sucks when people slip through the cracks.

As someone with a severe mental illness, who has been turned down from joining the military, I can safely say that having an illness that requires constant access to medication can destroy any chance of joining the marines. If you want to be deployed, then you'll need to be able to prove mental stability without access to medications. They're not going to deploy someone who is a liability and can have a breakdown out in the field.
Of course, successfully joining is dependent on many factors and on a case by case basis. So, you'll have to discuss it with the recruiters.Your reasons sound like good solid reason to join the Marines. Your mother is reacting as most mothers do, fearful that he son may be hurt or killed in action. Follow your own desire and demonstrate to your parents how important it is to you, and become a Marine. Thank you, in advance, for your service.
I wanted to join when I was 17. My father refused to sign for me. I think he was right. Lots of kids come back with leg blown off and the government doesn't even want to know them,
It is severe mistreatment. The purpose is to train you to obey without asking question. You will not be taught any useful skills and otherwise it is boring. You will be wasting several years of your life for little compensation.
"Mommy" doesn't want you to Grow-up? I can understand that... Now you need to decide if you will allow her to keep you a "child". I suspect you will need to Be a MAN without her permission or she will keep safe at home until you are 75.
You would man up but you mught come back to mind worries and body parts missing. You might want to look some youtube up mow there are head cams on Ukraine soilders and the experIence is the feeling of war. Bodies laying around. tanks blown up
Yes, you should. More men should be in the military. It gives you life skills in becoming a man, something most men don't get nowadays.
