1. San Francisco, California
San Francisco is one of the most popular cities on the West Coast. Attractions here include: Fisherman's Wharf, Giants Stadium, The Golden Gate Bridge, The street cars, Chinatown, and houses where movies were filmed such as Mrs.Doubtfire. Out in the bay is the abandoned Alcatraz Prison.
2. Orlando, Florida
Theme Park Capital of the United States! Such theme parks here are Disney World, EPCOT, Universal Orlando, Legoland, and Seaworld. There are also a lot of aligator reserve parks nearby as well. And Daytona Beach and Speedway are nearby as well.
3. Las Vegas, Nevada
This Adults paradise includes lots of things to do. From Casinos to Shows. Hoover Dam is also in Las Vegas area. Make sure you bring a lot of money if you go here because you will need it haha.
4. Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas
Dallas/ Fort Worth is a very busy city. Attractions here include: Cowboys Stadium, The Fort Worth Stockyards, Dallas Zoo, Dealey Plaza near the assasination site of John F Kennedy, and Six Flags over Texas themepark.
5. Atlana, Georgia
A world class city in the Southern United States. Attractions here include: The World of Coca Cola/ Coca Cola world headquarters, Turner Field (Atlanta Olympic Stadium), CNN Center, Stone Mountain, Six Flags over Georgia, And Hartsfield Jackson International Airport which is the world's busiest. This is the first five which I have never been to. The next five are all cities I have personally visited
5. Washington DC/ Baltimore, Maryland
Washington DC is our Captiol city. Here you will find: The Smithsonian museums, Arlington National Cemetary, The US Holocaust Museum, The Spy Museum,The Pentagon, The White House,Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and most can be seen free of charge! Baltimore which is just a short drive away hosts the Inner Harbor, Fort Mchenry, The Baltimore Ravens, Edgar Allan Poe house and museum, The National Aquarium, and The Chesapeake Bay
6. Nashville, Tennessee
This city is often called "The Athens of America". Several styles of music and recording studios are centered in Nashville and is the third largest entertainment capitol in the USA next to NY and LA. You can catch a riverboat and sail along the Tennessee River. Other attractions include: The Grand Ole Opry House,Ryman Auditorium, Vanderbilt University, Country Music Hall of Fame, The Parthenon, and the city itself.
7. Charlotte, North Carolina
Charlotte is the second biggest Financial center in the United States. Several American and International banks have American headquarters here. Attractions include: Carowinds/Boomerang Bay water and themepark, Bank of America Stadium, Several museums, An Aquarium, The Charlotte Speedway which offers Different styles of auto racing, Symphony Orchestras and plays.
8. Charleston, South Carolina
One of the oldest port cities in the United States. Charleston boasts many pre Revolutionary War dated houses. Fort Sumnter where the US Civil War started in 1861. High end shops such as Coach, Louis Vitton etc.... Charleston Outdoor Market and Bazzar, Beaches galore, South Carolina State Aquarium, and Ghost tours.
9. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Myrtle Beach has 60 miles of Atlantic Coastline to be seen!
There are several Amusement parks, mini golf courses, golf courses, Malls, walking trails, waterparks, fishing, Whale and dolphin watching tours, Shows and plays, broadway style theater all in this Amazing coastal city!
There are other great spots in the US to be seen as well, but I'll leave that for another myTake!
