When the Sun explodes, there's nothing you can do about it. Until that time, though, the Sun will be there, mean while you can fuck anything or get fucked by anything and anyone, whichever fits your style.
I'll have to remember this one, though. To call in one fine day and say "Hey, so uh... the Sun's going to explode anyway, I can't be bothered with this shit.. have fun" *click*
What really is the point anyway of life, go to school and work, for pieces of paper with something printed on it. To buy things we don't really need or take with us. Only here for a little while

everyone on here is telling you to be positive or change yourself... I just don't agree with that. however you choose to feel won't change the fact that other people still don't care as much as they should. but, people spend most of their time working just so they can barely survive. they don't have the energy really to change anything...
so do you not like your job too? you could look into investing/penny stocks maybe if you have any spare $.
and there might not be any girl comments on this, since there's no positive or happy answer to anything you said. the guys are saying to be positive too, but they're still acknowledging there are reasons to be unhappy with how people act. there's no 'everything will be fine' answer to this.
or even because there's no moralistic answer to this. like: 'if you just do a, b, and c you'll live fine'. like the whole, go to college, work, and live happy ideals. so you sound like you did a, b, and c already, and it didn't matter. so there's nothing really to say then, since the idealistic part never worked out. but... I think that's how the real world is.
Our purpose is survival and reproduction, like any other creature.
Which is why we will inevitably perish. But we will strive to avoid that.
Whether one believes in a divine creator or not, life remains a precious gift. Some people feel like there's nothing to live for, but I feel like there's nothing to die for. Life is meant to be lived; we only have a short time here and then we're dead. Why not make the most of it? Why not see as much of the world as we can, make a difference in people's lives, and hopefully leave the world a little better than we found it? That is what gives meaning to life more than anything.
I don't need a grand scheme. I might hear a funny joke tomorrow and laugh my ass off, meet a pretty girl and fall in love, or eat an unexpectedly delicious meal. Those are the things that make life worth living.
There are people in this economy who would kill to have a job right now. Some people like to eat and have a place to stay
And if you already have that some people like to shop for things and unless you like prison most people use money from a job to do that
