Religion is just a superstition... Science has proven lots of theories, in physics, chemistry, biology etc... on the other hand - religion failed to prove anything, because it's only a fairytale.
Not to mention that believing in a higher power (or a god) is not the same as blindly following some mythical tales told by morons, thousands of years ago, which encourage people to hate one another, discriminate against each other, and strip humans from their most basic rights.
@TwistedLogic uhm... Christianity does not tell you to hate people at all. In fact it is quite the opposite. I was taught to love everyone no matter who they were. I was taught that vengence for God to have not me. Jesus wants us to love everyone not hate. It even tells us in the bible to clothe, feed, and give drink to our enemies.
Yes I do. I do not condone their acts, but I am not the one to judge them. As well it is their life to live. They may live it in a way that they choose. God has given them that right to choose their path. They will have to answer for it later. That being said I will have to answer for the things I have done.

I consider science to be the tool God uses to get us closer to him. The more we understand how the universe works, the more we understand God.
Your title makes you sound like an idiot, but your take isn't bad.
Interesting take. I posted one about religion and atheism. Feel free to check it in my profile
I believe that science explains how things happen, and religion why.
This is quite an interesting thought, and presicely how I feel.

— "A majority of scientists believe in a god or a higher power"
52%. That's a majority, but absolutely not a big one.

@TwistedLogic Agreed.

@Hezigrimm You haven't actually read the Bible then. Yes, love everyone, with a long list of exceptions.
No there are no exceptions at all. Jesus said to love thy neighbour no ifs ands or buts.
@Hezigrimm Do you love your homosexual, masturbating neighbour?
Yes I do. I do not condone their acts, but I am not the one to judge them. As well it is their life to live. They may live it in a way that they choose. Pretty much everyone has missed the entire point of this. Are people really this fucking stupid?
Nice myTake. Prepare for the ensuing shit storm.
Great Take writer lol :)
