#1) Because in todays world it usually takes 2 good salaries to live. If you're working at McDonalds for 5 hours a day, just not gonna cut it.
#2) ... I love a good sale. So do many of the woman I know. Ebay is our best friend and they also have introduced us all to these amazing yard sale sites where we can thrifty shop from our phones at our desk at work. And of course you tip the waitress or waiter. If they provided good service ya tip them. Their pay comes from tips.
Being "jacked and height" are only Gag world problems. Nobody walks around going "no, sorry I only date 7 ft tall jacked guys". This is only a gag issue.
Driving? Unless you're in the city... ya better drive. I'm from the country, there is no public transportation round here and I'm not waking myself and our kids up at 4am to drive my husband to work. Ridiculous for you to expect that.
Princess syndrome? Please.
Personally I never tip. It's normal for people here and for most countries, but you Americans will call me cheap. You just waste your money like toilet paper as I said. Have you ever met any American who's thrifty? Personally not.
And if a guy was like 2-3" shorter than you, and skinny, you wouldn't dump him eh?
Yes... myself... and many others. Leaving a tip isn't using money as toilet paper, leaving a tip is showing you appreciate the service you received. Anyone who can get a tip here in America doesn't get even a minimum wage salary. Their salary is their tips.
And no actually, my husband is about 1-2 inches shorter than me. Not an issue at all.
If I may offer one little tidbit of information, in the state I live in, Servers (waiters or waitresses) make around $2.50- $3.00 an hour. They also pay about 18% taxes on the food they serve. If you sit at their table for an hour, and your food bill comes to $100.00 and you don't leave a tip, they still have to pay $18.00 in taxes to the government. So by not tipping them, a server essentially just paid $18.00 of their hard earned money for you to sit and eat.
@Ntnrmlchck I almost never eat at restaurants because I know how to cook. In America it's common to eat at restaurants from what I see... hm.
I was simply offering a valid explanation for why you would be considered cheap. Americans having dinner at restaurant for a date is how our society tends to do things. It's nice that you can cook, but not many American women are comfortable having a first date at their date's home unless they knew each other well before they began dating. Couples also eat at restaurants because they enjoy an evening out where they don't have to cook and clean up the mess from cooking.

@BelleGirl21 I think there's some kind of cognitive bias at work, I remember all those fem-anons who say they would NEVER date under 5'10" even if they're like 5'4" and expect their partner to be totally okay with their promise to themselves about rejecting any sort of intimacy until they sign papers for them so that they can divorce and get their house... But other than that also expect men to pay for them and then choke them to death in bed because "he should assert control as a man", because violence is all that men do it's in their genes

I see where you are coming from but I don't think in any way it's an American thing. Girls tend to want taller guys in any country, especially Eastern Europe where this guy claims they don't care. And if you're looking at women who care an extreme amount about education and financial success look no farther than Asia.
@BelleGirl21 also I hate cars and I would never want to drive one. It's scary and I would just get myself killed. But in the West, not having a car is not an option. As if it was the single most important thing without which your life is forever incomplete.
I don't like cars and I'd feel pretty pissed if I felt pressured to get one just so that some scummy people would finally manage to get themselves to consider me a worthwhile human being.
Well, I like cars when other people drive them and they don't screw up. I'll love it way more when sensors will drive it, they are more reliable than people.

And I don't like judging "women" per say considering your vagina doesn't define what you're like as a person, but WOW some questions do make me think there is always a new time for a new low.
... And as I said, I think this take appeals to some of my hidden resentment. It's one of my greatest errors that I'm easily blinded when I agree with only parts of what is said, and stop thinking critically.

So, wherever you come from, guys who have no money because they don't work, guys who have never worked in the service industry for tips and so don't support or encourage gratuities, guys who sleep with prostitutes, disrespect their parents, dress like teenagers, slap women around, and won't return a phone call are all in high demand?
Why is it bad to dress like a teenager? After all my body resembles more a teenager's body, so why not?
And prostitutes? Many men I know, lost their virginity with a hooker when they were 15-18. And they're not ashamed of it.
I don't have a problem with prostitution, per se. As long as all involved are adults, and all activiregulare regulated and above the board. In the States, it's illegal, so the girls are often exploited, underage, beaten, and drugged. They are often raped, beaten, and abused. They aren't offered the luxury of getting to use protection. Many of them are kidnapping victims. That's why it's so frowned upon here. In places like Germany, with brothels that are a little more 'classy' than the shady hotel rooms, dark alleys, and abandoned warehouses that people use here, people are oppressed and subjected to jail time very and felony charges like they are here, so those involved are more open about their sexuality. The US might never evolve that far. :/
As far as the clothes go... you're young. Wear what you want. Most people here are actually fine with people expressing their own style. A lot of your points did make sense, though. We have pretty high expectations. Too stressed out for me.
You mean studios by high-classed brothels? Regular brothels are usually dark rooms, and obviously cheaper.
There are cheap ones and there are higher end ones where the elite and wealthy get their girls; but on both ends of the spectrum they are legal there. In the US they are not, which makes it much more frowned upon. Any illicit activity is going to be rejected and scorned by people who consider themselves a higher class of people. But clearly not everyone feels the same way they do.

I am not American, but I live in the US and I know many American girl friends who have many different attitudes towards different situations and different types of guys. This is a nation of 350 million people with tons of different ethnicity and culture, and half of them are women. You cannot simply pack a 175 million women from different ages into one category and generalize like this. If you were a real man, you could show your identity instead of using anonymous feature. You're a real jerk with these expectations and treatment and I hope no woman -careful not no American woman, but any nation- will date you or live her life with you at all. I wasn't born in the United States but this is completely untrue and so incredibly offensive. There are different types of women, they're not all the same. They want different things, eveyone does. The women you are describing is only a tiny fraction. Some actually want you for you, some don't care if you can drive or not, if you're broke or not. I was born in the 90s and I only have tumblr, I don't the way you are describing the women in the United States is fair at all. Some, in fact a lot are more open minded then what you are describing. Some don't need you to be on top of your phone at all time, some don't even need you to be monogamous. There are a lot of other countries who value money just as much as they do in the United States, maybe even more.

This is all bullshit generalizations. The only thing I agree with on this list is that raising your hand to your partner makes you a monster (it does). There's no excuse for physically harming your partner, whether you're a guy or gal, it's never acceptable. Only other things I partly agree with is that while I wouldn't view someone who's had sex with a prostitute as dirty necessarily but I wouldn't want to be in a sexual relationship with him as much if I found out. If we were already in a relationship maybe I'd forgive it, but it'd be a turn off if I found out before. As long as you're clean I don't think you really need to disclose that info.
While I agree that not following gender norms truly doesn't make you more or less of a man or woman, I don't think *all American girls* believe that it will make you less of a man. All of what you've listed is a huge generalization, and I don't know any American women who fit any of that.

I mean, it's not that some women don't believe... there's definitely some truth to what you're saying for example the majority of women being reluctant to date short/average height guys. However, I don't believe these necessarily represent the the majority of American women accurately especially since attitudes vary vastly depending on location ( state for example ).
