making up between 80 to 97% of all victims (muslims) so in fact you have the least to worry about. Muslims ironicly have far more to fear then you ever will. And the fact that its worked. Since your afraid you will ostricise muslims who have not done you any wrong, which is the goal (divide and conquer) so now they are hated despite doing nothing wrong which then will drive them towards the very group that caused the problem to begin with. Its how they recruite people, they create the fear and hate then because the west respondes
they tell those they wish to recruite that its the wests fault that they hate you but we can help you and they fall for it (or at leats enough). And so you are doing exactly what they want you to do, you being afraid is the goal (hence the term terrorism). So you and people like you are the best recruiter for them because you give in to the fear they attempt to instill so readily. How so? I showed you the statistics, those are immutable. As for what I stated it correspondes perfectly with what is happening. If 97% of all victims are muslims and in muslim countries then clearly it has nothing to do with you/the west. Thats common sense. What they are doing is no different then any other group has done, you make some one an enemy prefferably some one you are already against (indifference works but its best when their is some prexisting anomosity) and you exploit that hatred to get what you want. Thats how the nazis came into power, they pointed out that it was the rich jewish people who where in control while every one else was suffering, they made them into the enemy and people came running to them for their help and protection giving them power. Lennin did the same thing in russia. When North Korea threatend America do you think they had the ability to do ANYTHING? No, it was merley a show of power on Kim Jong un's behalf.
Showing his power that he could scare America, thus consolidating his power in his own country. He knew as every one else did that he had no capacity to do much of anything, it was a bluff to get the people to support him. Its a tactic that is so common place that its actually odd to me that any one falls for it. ISIS, Al Queda are all political groups. They use terror to gain power by convicing others that they have power which causes people to join their cause giving them actual power. As I pointed out its actually a really common tactic (simple but obviously very affective).
How many muslims have you met honestly? How many have you actually interacted with, truly interacted with, honestly? I'm guessing few if any. Thats the point of it, isolate the muslim community from others (again isolation is a common tactic in for instance cults, you isolate those who may give a different message or contradict your message ie westerns are evil, but if your interacting with westerns daily and they are your friends your not going to take that message seriously are you? You don't interact with muslims so they tell you their dangerous and because your afraid to interact with them you will never see that its not true just as they will always feel isolated thus allowing the other groups (terrorist groups) to gain more and more traction within those communities). Look at where the majority of terrorism acts occure, in Europe and especially around france, where many places have passed laws that affect only muslims. Its not coincedence.

I disagree with no. 1. I think the leaders are business who are profiting from the death and destruction. I don't think they've prayed to Allah for a while.
I understand your opinion, but I have to disagree. Profiting how? With income? Or with power? If it's power, then I agree with you. The more death and destruction these terror groups do the more power and fear they get which is what they want. If it's money then I have to disagree. They are makeing SOME money off of this, but not a lot. The main reason is to create a nation where sharia law exists and modernization is extinct.

Yeah I clarified it with the other guy. I meant in the western world terror stacks don't happen frequently, but in the Middle East it's a different story. Terror attacks happen more frequently and the death toll of those attacks are greater.

I don't recall anything 'bout a scholar visiting the US and hating it, but Wahhabism is a branch of Sunni Islam that preaches ultraconservatism and is often takes the blame as the source of religious fanaticism and eventually extremism and terrorism in the middle east. Wahhabism strongly opposes modernization and calls for a return to older ways. That being said, many middle eastern Muslims are conservative, but not ultraconservative or fanatic.
Islam preaches peace and tolerance and Jihad, which is "the struggle" to do morally right things. I blame news outlets for messing up that definition. It is sort of like righting your wrongs or redemption (unlike the Christian idea of penance or confession, you must actually do something to right what you have done wrong).
I guess from the point of view of Wahhabism, modernization is wrong and must be righted through conservation? This is where it gets messy, and I don't really know how it works. History and religion get very complicated.

Islam is very peaceful. In the Qu'ran, the prophet Muhammad goes on and on about how Muslims need to spread peace and that one who sins (I. e. Killing someone for no reason) will not get a lick of paridise.
Islam has had its violent past, but you know what other religion has had its violent past? Christianity. Both the Qu'ran and the bible talk about how gays should be killed and also how non-believers should be killed. So if Islam was such a "harmful religion" I'm which everyone is violent, then wouldn't Christians be violent too? Assuming that you live in the U. S, 70% of the U. S is Christian so with your logic everyone who is Christian would be a terrorist too.
