My opinion on labels

Personally I think that they don't matter at all, gay, straight, queer, whore, masculine/feminine, (but obviously knowing your gender is important for your doctor to know for various health reasons), pretty, ugly etc they don't matter we are just people like our bodies and minds aren't the real issue who we like doesn't matter, what matters is taking care of yourself, treating everyone with kindness and respecting the earth, trying to do what's right in a tough situation- someone to love or loved you, but labels don't matter. Period.

Labels are pointless. People are who they are, there is no reason to categorize them. 90% of the time, labels only hurt. Don't cause people pain because they are being themselves. Fuck labels.

You should be able to label yourself if you want but putting them on other people is shitty.

Gender is a label? What planet are you from? I'm pretty darn sure it comes down to a chromosome and what was between someone's legs when they were born.

It sounds like what you're more concerned about than "labels" is categories and standards, as if one's being is supposed to be incredibly fluid. Loving people unconditionally isn't contingent on not acknowledging elements of their personhood.

I don't know why anyone cares if the label is correct good if you get labelled wrong just say they're wrong but you should be able to label yourself cos pretty much everyone falls into some category it gets across what you are quickly sure it's not 100% accurate but I don't want an analysis of your sexuality or some shit.

Basically, everybody is a label. It's no big deal. Like I'm a mixed raced, straight, female parent... amongst some of my labels. Labels just say what you are, it's no big deal. People like to know things about each other, and we all have different labels, otherwise we're all just robots.

Yes you're fine with labeling yourself, and you have a right to, but you do not get to label other people. That's not your place to do so. And yes people like to get to know about each other but you don't get to just label them they're not just a label! We're human beings!

I think its unrealistic to expect people not not categorize things. It just comes natural to us.

Of course, but you shouldn't go around judging people and putting labels on them. It's perfectly fine to know what people are like, but judging them and labeling them this and that for being themselves is wrong.
