Exactly. I, a woman, can only argue for the recognition in some of these areas for men so much. Bigger strides will come when men take the reins, instead of shaming other men before they even offer the discussion. Women have been paving their path with little help from others. It is great when men share their voices for women's causes, just as it is great for the opposite. But the people who are facing the problems need to be the ones leading.
I hate talking with the few men who understand these things, hearing them complain about it being the fault of women. Um, hello? Most of this is perpetuated by your gender! Here I am, a woman, being VOCAL about it. How about you do that?

I just yesterday had a battle with the feminist run HR department with the Ombusman because they refuse to make their hate campaign's a gender neutral campaign instead.
I also have been constantly writing different government groups trying to get equal funding for men's issues (which is an uphill battle)... I put a shit ton of my own money into helping men and supporting men in my community. I also put a lot of my own time into helping men in need.
SO I am not just a keyboard warrior.
I actually fight the beast in real life.

You may not realize it now but the lesson plan you are getting at school (if it's a public school) is very likely bias.
@sdistotallyme it's biased Conservatively because I live in a conservative area. Most educators because of the simple fact that they're human too at least ever so slightly speak through a tint of their own views.
I grew up in conservative area myself (big mormon community) and I recall my public education being very biased. I remember opening of a textbook about the revolutionary war that introduced George Washington as a slaveowner (first sentence of the chapter).
It's not just the teachers but the ADMINISTRATION is often liberal. You will probably recognize this more down the road.
@sdistotallyme my mom is a teacher and so I know most of the teachers and administrators and where I live there are much more conservatives than liberals. I myself am liberal and believe being skeptical is important so I myself don't care if it's biased because I do my own research whenever possible and get my research from as many sources as possible.

Regardless of you not caring if the system is biased or not, it will affect you.
The tinted view from a mostly female based teaching world, has effected society already.
The social justice (bowel) movement has systematically oppressed boys to the point where boys are being given Ritalin just for being boys. Boys are seen as broken girls because they are more active and louder, etc. A society of boys being medicated simply for acting like normal males has negatively affected society in general. Male suicide is at epidemic numbers.
If you can't see how these bias' effect males, then there won't be any way to convince you.
