The left should deal with the bigotry, corruption and lunacy on their own goddamn side before they try and lecture others about anything.

Great take. As much as I hate Trump, I'm not leaving this country. We have just as much right to protest and speak out against Trump just as much as Obama protestors did.
I think it mostly has to do with people saying they would leave if he was elected and the fact that they were going off about him possibly not accepting the results.

No I just think it's ridiculous and I'm just reminding people that we have the right to assembly, right to petition, and right to talk bad about the government. Too many people don't like freedom of speech except when it benefits them.

It's not violent protest that pisses them off. It's protest in general. Look at how they react when someone doesn't stand up for the national anthem.

When you take it out of context like that, yes. Then again if you don't listen to protesters and consider their thoughts, you make violent protest inevitable. There's been assaults by trump supporters across the country so people have a right to be scared.
