This is a classic example over reacting. Yes. Women do get treated poorly/unfairly in today's society. There is absolutely no debating that. But you have to remember that "whining" about this mistreatment won't solve it. More women going into politics, sciences, arts, etc. is the real solution to gender bias. By going into fields that women have previously been excluded from, a person helps close gender bias by proving that women are just as capable as men. The world needs less talkers/protesters, and more doers.
I'm not complaining just pointing things out. I'm glad women are going into male-dominated fields. I am aware that but in turn you're whining about me whining and no progress was made there. But thanks for clicking
I do believe you have confused what I have told you with the "whining" you have above in your post. Just a suggestion to you, don't be like the feminists who exaggerate the problem and yet do nothing to remedy it. Feminism is not a bad thing as long as the women involved actively pursue to make a change instead of protesting how awful their situation is. News flash: If you don't change your situation, no one else will.

If a relationship fails it's ALWAYS the guy's fault. Either he was neglectful so she cheated, or he was an asshole, or he left and that makes him an asshole. It's ALWAYS the guy's fault. Always. In case you didn't get it: since I get to think how I wanted, I get to like beautiful women and not to like uglies. I even get to say it, choose it, vote for it and certainly discuss it since it is my preference. Excuse me but I could be wrong (it happens) but MEN are the only ones with rigid gender roles; women can do whatever they want, whenever they want without consequences. Just take one look at divorce courts, false DV reporting, school teachers having sex with their students and having the victim pay child support for the resulting CHILDREN as a few examples. I do have question for you, being as that your 15 and that's still quite young. How did you come to the conclusion that women are blamed for everything? Do you feel this way because of things you've seen on the news, because of books you've read, because of a class you take in school or because of things you've heard women in your family say, what makes you feel this way?
I don't think women are blamed for everything. Men are also blamed for a lot but I've come t the conclusion because of things I've witnessed. Age is just a number. Age doesn't stop you from being harassed or assaulted. I wish it did but it sadly does not.

This is how women were treated in the past, and I'm actually sad that it still happens. We're all humans. Why should 1 gender be superior over another? To me, we're all equal. Our bodies and brain works differently but other than that, we're pretty much the same.
Who pays on the first date and why? Who mews the lawn and shovel the pavement and why? Who cooks and clean and why? If you think about questions like these and how people may answer you would understand why gender roles are still around
@Scooby225 In my opinion, both should pay for the first date. They are not dating yet, so the guy should not be held responsible for spending money on a girl who might not want to see him again after the first date.
And about gender roles in my family. I mow the lawn at my house. I cook, and my boyfriend and I both clean. My boyfriend earns more money than I do, but I work as well. I think in a relationship we all have our own tasks to do and it depends on the relationship itself what works for them.

@pinkesweet you are NOT held back by your gender. If anything it benefits you. Men cannot benefit from benefit from. affirmative action because of their gender... yes they are less likely but the difference is marginal. And even if it the difference is significant at the top levels of jobs available to less than 1% of the population that doesn't effect the vast majority if women in the workforce. The only one holding you back is yourself. Now is the system harder to hack than in the past? Yes, of course. But that affects everyone. Oh and since women can hold administrative roles ,(I was hired and trained by a lady) it is possible for women to discriminate against men nowadays.
