A true feminist includes and educates people. It's not about hating men. But here is a thing about the kids. In Norway the mom AND the dad works full time after the kid is 1 year old. We put the kids in kindergarten at 7.30 and pick them up between 15-16.00 but all kindergarten in Norway have educated people working there that know how to take care of kids in the best way. A dual income family is a much more happy family. also the family can choose if the father or the mother is the one that stays home with the kid the first year. More and more father's are doing that.

There is a difference. Women can't be like men, of course there are things men can do that women can also do, but there are also things men can do that women can't. For instance, men can go shirtless, and women can't.

Men believe feminist women hate them because feminist women demonize men for even the most mundane things like saying "Hi" or developing feelings for a female friend or using the term "friendzoned" to mean she has unreauited feelings (and not that she owes him anything). Also feminists protest and demonize men for talking about issues that affect them. I believe that there are pros to feminism but overall there are more benefits to being egalitarian than to being a feminist.

I think the word "feminist" is really broad and covers everything from the womans (human) rights activists to the more stereotyped bra burning sorts... I think human rights (including women rights) are important... and I believe to the extent that it doesn't harm society... freedom of choice for everyone is vital.. beyond that... why label?

Feminism is supposed to mean that men and women should be TREATED equally. We're not the same but one is not better than the other.

And I believe it goes both ways. Equal pay and recognition for woman and men being allowed to show emotion without being criticized for it.

To me this is mixing two distinct ideas: old feminism, which was about equality of opportunity, and modern feminism, which is about hating men and blaming them for every failure by a woman.
