We all have a right to our own opinion. I don't care about being policitally correct. I care more about being straightforward and honest. I'm not trying to appeal to people who want to believe a lie.

PC is garbage because...

It limits our freedom of speech

It prevents us from speaking our minds

It doesn't allow us to be honest about our thoughts and feelings

It forces us to talk a certain way

It won't change our minds

It allows the offended to feel entitled

Our speech shouldn't be restricted by someone else's feelings

It tries to make us feel ashamed for having our own opinions

It makes a big deal out of nothing because one person's opinions are not that relevant when it comes down to real life.

So far there has only been one thread created by an anti-PC enthusiast, that actually cited examples. She was actually very respectful and logical. But I pointed out how each of her examples were actually not founded on PC ideology, but scientific fact.

And in fact, it's been found that IQ scores have been increasing over time, and so quickly that it is unlikely to be a function of genetics and is in fact more probable that it's simply due to societal advancements. Additionally, IQ is not the only measure of intelligence. IQ tests measure very specific types of intelligence, and it is possible for someone with a very high IQ to be lacking in intelligence in another area such as creativity or interaction.

Intelligence is not measured in only certain aspects. The IQ test is meant to measure the general "G" quotient, which is the culmination of all areas of intelligence. I see you're implying that multiple intelligences exist. That's largely become unaccepted within the Psychological community because it leads intelligence loses it's meaning. You can then begin to say that there's a cooking or a pencil sharpening intelligence, now do you see where we run into trouble? And if you're bringing up differences in learning environments, that itself results from the competence of the people within that society. In other words, those people don't have the brains required to develop the required conditions suitable for the development of a prosperous environment in the first place. In the case of blacks, they're the oldest humans in the world; they've been around far longer than the other races such as Caucasians and Asians have, yet they've contributed the least amount to human

And it doesn't make intelligence "lose its meaning", it just applies a broader meaning to it. Yes, intelligence could be defined purely by IQ if that's how you choose to define the word, but the tricky thing about definitions is that they're not inherent to the concept. Like how Pluto used to be defined as a planet but the definition of planet was shifted to where Pluto no longer counted as a planet.

And honestly I really just don't like video as a way to consume information, as it's way more difficult to check the sources and the consistency.

I think it does account for their continual failure. The more a group falls behind, the worse they do, as the weaker they are the easier it is for other groups to take advantage of them (like in the form of unfair trade policies or some such). And once they get locked into producing raw materials rather than finished goods via the colonial division of labor (an economic role which is less profitable and less conducive to societal development) it's difficult to get out of that role, so they fall further and further behind.
