The Double-Standard of Political Correctness

We live in a society dominated by political correctness, and as such there are double standards in our society imposed by PC.

While mocking and criticizing men and whites is not only permitted, but generally encouraged. Iggy Azalea better drop her ‘black girl act’. Why can’t she just embrace she’s the whitest cracker around?

The Double-Standard of Political Correctness

Sound familiar?

In contrast, criticizing non-whites and women is absolutely verboten, and it is immediately labeled as hate speech, racist, sexist, offensive, etc. People are so emotional and self-righteous about any deviation from PC orthodoxy that it is often hard to have a rational conversation.

One of the touchiest subjects of all is anything involving a black woman.

To criticize a black woman, regardless of the nature or the focus of the criticism, is to invite yourself to be immediately labeled a racist. The only way to NOT be labeled a racist is to only say complimentary things about women of color. Meaning there is no possibility of rational discussion about any issue involving a woman who just happens to be black. So if the next President of the USA, for example, were a black woman, she could essentially become a complete dictator, with no criticism of anything she does would be tolerated in our society.

The Double-Standard of Political Correctness

Let’s switch over to the LGBTQ-acceptance movement as of late. ‘Love sees no gender’, it’s time to be all-accepting. Be true to yourself…

Unless that deviates from being politically correct. Oh, I’m sorry, your religion doesn’t recognize acceptance of same-sex marriage? I guess it’s time to demonize you for having your own beliefs. After we have just pushed our own on you…

Body 'Positivity'

Being skinny is such a hassle. Some people are just winners of the genetic lottery. For the most-part, men love a ‘real’ woman. More cushion for the pushin’.

What? ‘Real’ woman, eh? Does that mean women who are skinny, whether it be because they may biologically simply have higher metabolisms, have healthier lifestyles, and/or work their but off to maintain their health, are not real? Shaming women for being slim.

The Double-Standard of Political Correctness

Society, for the most-part North American society, perpetuates the idea that a morbidly obese person could pursue an active lifestyle and remain at their size, and that saying otherwise would be “shaming” them. I’m not saying we should shame heavier people or anything. What we should not do, however, is make high body-fat percentages the norm. Sure, the media may throw unrealistically perfect body-ideals at young children growing up today. That doesn’t mean we should counter this by encouraging the idea that it’s ‘okay’ to be heavy. To allow children to only add to the 60+% of the world’s population that is already obese.

Political correctness is a problem that society has been facing for a long time. The thought and assumption that being politically correct is just "not being a dumb hateful racist" when it in fact is the opposite.

Political correctness by all intentions is ignoring reality to push an agenda. Some people accurately call this by its real name, cultural marxism.

People are enabling negative behaviors to continue on the grounds of maintaining "diversity" and "fairness".
