I am aware of these issues in the third world countries. Thanks for sharing however. It's why living in these countries should NOT be a plan. Relocate. I plan to.
As an Iranian born agonistic, I tend to agree with with 👍🏻

Im very glad the UK and France, Germany, Spain etc are secular countries.
Christianity use to be a big problem in the UK and Europe in general and relatively recently northern Ireland so I hope your society improves like ours did.
well the religion is not the problem society is the problem,, women were submissive to men even before islam in the middle east and islam exploited this idea to attract more followers, so it's pretty much fucked up situation
The religion IS the problem because their holy book specifically says that a woman is to be submissive to a man and that she must cover herself. The Muslim holy book even says specifically that a man is superior to a woman. It's the religion, not society.
Religion and culture are independent of themselves. Once they both overlap, we have a problem. You made a terrible mistake to confuse the two my friend.
The majority of citizens being muslim doesn't change much because the turkish government is secularist. That's why people get to do what they want. I live in Morocco, which is a cool country with a tourism-based economy and is the world's second destination for sexual tourism, so you can say that people obviously do what they want (clandestinely except for tourists) but the laws are based on islamic principles. So I can relate to everything said on this mytake
You may be more free than other countries ıf you are in Turkey but more than half of the people in there are religious (actually they do what is thought to be right to them:the tradition which islam has the biggest effect on) and they won't approve the things against the religion which had been a big issue specially for women and people who raised in a religious families also Turkey isn't secular as ıt says on constitution anymore
HAHAHHA RIGHT! Remember when you feel to do what ever you want as a woman in a western world will get you stoned to Death or raped. Does that Burkha obscure your eye sight too?

Such a sexist religion. Telling a woman she is free because she covers herself up is just wrong.

"Does Islam promote violence in the Middle East?"
Violent minority groups abuse Islam to justify their violence.

I live in muslim society and everybody is free to do whatever they want!

Turkey is not like any Muslim country,, you should visit other countries to see the real Muslim society
the majority of turkey is muslim. I think the problem in other countries is culture
