You can't help who you're attracted to. I think it's only racist if you have a racial preference because you think a certain 'race' is superior.
That's just a preference, racism is negatively downing other races for no apparent reason, or reasons that are nonsensical

If so it suggests it could be because of racism (doesn't mean it though) it may be not be direct ie because of racist family there close with or perception of that but it's also not right to force pepole to be attracted to someone there not.
Let me put it this way: it's stupid and authoritarian to force people to not factor in race in their dating preferences.

No. The word racist no longer means anything simply because it's thrown out there too often. I have a preference for white women but have dated other races in the past usually because I liked them as people and found them attractive

Race preference is a term used when people have a preference to date certain groups [race] because they finds particular facial features, colors and body builds more attractive than others. Some features are more common among some groups than others. Narrow eyes are more common among East-Asians, kinky hair and big lips among West-Africans and blonde hair among the Nordic countries.
