At this point I'm almost inclined to go with feminazis rather than "real feminists".
At least they are open about their misandry and don't try to act like the deluded stuff they condescendingly parrot about is somehow legitimate and to be respected.
God let this feminist shit go. If you really want to empower women, then go work as a coal miner, or oilfield laborer, or construction worker, bricklayer, welder etc. I have far more respect for women that earn a mans wage doing a mans job than I do for women that only bitch and moan on the internet.
I love standing back and watch people make takes like this when they could just say that they are egalitarian and not have to worry about separating themselves from the extremists.

I'm a feminist... saying egalitarian is stupid. Because I want people like you to try and argue with me. Feminism is a movement for equal rights for both genders.
Exactly. So is being egalitarian. Except without the semi biased (or arguably outdated in some places) prefix. I care about human rights and making sure everyone has the same opportunities for success and happiness.
I never knew that there were male feminist until reading this.
There are and there's even a campaign called HeForShe started by Emma Watson to gather more male feminists.
It seems incredible to me that any men think women shouldn't be treated equally.

@goaded If you wanted to say that "it is incredible that men STILL think that women CANNOT be treated equally", then I agree with you. by the way feminism is not about being treated plainly equally, we don't want to be treated like men, for one small reason: we are not men. BUT we want to be respected socially and professionally, in terms of positions (as long as the gal in question actually earns it), wage (if she knows, she must be paid in accordance) and culture (if I am walking down the street in my dress and heels, I am expecting to be treated with respect, and not to be "objectified" because some looser found me attractive and immediately he believes that he has any kind of power over me)

When I first leanred of the feminist movement, I was strongly against it, but I quickly learned that there were women who wanted nothing more than to be recognized as equals to men and then there were the women who were misguided and took the movement to be something entirely different.
I have no problem with the equal treatment thing but I do not support the idea of chaining men in a standing position in the basement and spending ten hours a day sledgehammering a mans balls then using a syringe to extract semen and genetically engineering the child to be female or kill the male child because he is a male and that means he is garbage and should not be allowed to experience life.
Bullshit. Feminism has nothing to do with equality. It's about MAKING the world easier for women and harder for men.

I have no problem with equality but feminists also promote issues I disagree with, such as LGBT, promiscuity and telling people the gender is a social construct. That's some BS!

I just call them BuzzFeed feminists since that's the home base of all the stupidity in the world, I just say I'm a manist, because people will probably get me associated with feminazis if I say feminists, but I also think we should rename, at least the real ones, to the equal rights movement.
