Acid throwing is a form of violent assault, defined as the act of throwing acid or a similarly corrosive liquid onto the body of another, with the intention to disfigure, injure, torture, or kill. Perpetrators of these attacks throw corrosive liquids at their victims, usually at their faces, burning them, and damaging skin tissue, often exposing and sometimes dissolving the bones.
The most common types of acid used in these attacks are sulfuric, nitric and sometimes hydrochloric acid. The attacks can cause blindness, as well as permanent scarring of the face and body. You'd wonder why a litre of concentrated acid is sold cheaper than makeup?
Hearing about the dreadful stories the victims have to say about these experiences are just heartbreaking and angering. What has happened to our humanity? Most people don't even deserve to be called humans. This 'behaviour' is just down right disgusting! If anyone else out there is as disgusted as me about these attacks, please support the acid victims. Our world which once was made from nature, love and humans has now turned into a place where social media is more important than our mental stability, health and families. We have ruined the lives of animals, by polluting and hunting, and now the hunters are attacking humans. Humanity has become disgusting.
We need to make a change. We need to throw more love around instead of acid.
