-Asians are actually the highest paid race
-there are programs in place to get minorities jobs or into college simply for being a minority. Why don't they have to earn these accomplishments based off merit? Sounds like a privilege for them.
-I'm white and from a low middle class family, we hardly have money to buy anything extra beyond the necessities. If this white privilege is a thing why does my family have to live paycheck to paycheck?
These are just a few points that show the whole white privilege argument is stupid.
As a half Asian myself, I find it funny how he chose to omit Asians from his statistics. He's just trying to skew things to fit his poisonous agenda.

My agenda has nothing to do with its existence because it's existence has already been proven time and time again, met with ridiculous opposition like "oh 8m white and I'm poor" or "I'm black and I'm rich" or "I'm Asian and I'm middle class" it doesn't matter because the socioeconomics behind favoritism in society is cemented in the demographics of our cities and states.
So prove it exists. You've posted bullshit about average incomes, yet I've already shut you down on that because white don't receive the highest income on average, so I want to see some real proof for you?

You did omit Asians though. You say there is white privilege, yet whites aren't even the most privileged based on the argument you are trying to present so you left them out. Also to say "I'm white and I'm poor" is a completely legit argument to white privilege. If you are going to say that an entire race of people are privileged shouldn't they all have some advantage compared the others? Me being white has not given me an advantage in anything my whole life (not that it should either). What rights do I as a white person have that other minorities dont? Having rights or advantages that others don't would be white privilege, but we dont. And like I mentioned above there are actually programs in place that hand minorities jobs or get them into schools simply for being non white. That's privilege. To say blacks and Hispanic heavy areas have more poverty on average is not an argument for saying an entire race is privileged when there are also many people in that race that live in poverty.

Basically that what leftists and other black supremacist groups such as BLM are asking. Whites must give everything they have and will have to blacks, and then slowly back off of any kind of power, and just become submissive little slaves.
None of these is really on the table. The solution is just to understand it and fix weak points such as refusing to hire people for not having white enough names. People don't want hand outs. People want to be able to reach equal ground. I read a research paper that stated it takes about 7 generations on average for a family to go from wealthy to poor or vice versa. Most black people work their buts off. They just want the same reward for the same amount of effort and the same ability to improve their lot in life. This cannot happen if people pretend there are no issues worth looking at. It's not just blacks. It's women, hispanics, Asians, etc. Minority executives in the U. S. are extremely low. 20 years ago there were only about 5 female executives. None were minorities. Ten years ago it was about 20. Now it is up to about 40, and minorities females are added in and finally being allowed to work their way to the top. Same issue with many leadership positions.

... Do you realize that most Asians in the U. S. did not migrate to here? Asians have been here as long as anyone else. Immigrant children on average tend to earn more than the average American.

If Asians are more likely to secure jobs in fields that pay more and do not ever advance, then of course they would earn more on average. That does not mean they are getting executive positions. Statistics do not really work the way you just used them. Yikes. If they are going into the same jobs and are promoted more to a point, then they'd earn more than those below them, but they may still be stunted in how far they can promote. Does that make sense?

Also, if you are able to spend so much time arguing, learn to do your own homework. Show me the number of people how get promoted to each level and their colors. Degree rates by race are pretty caught up at this point, so if they do not match the local population distribution, they are indeed discriminating.

It has NOTHING to do with the local population distribution, as now you're bringing in people who were NEVER even in contention for these roles into the mix, they're irrelevant. I want to see the demographics of the people who were in contention for executive roles compared to the people who got the roles. Then and ONLY then can you start making judgments about any racial biases in the recruitment process.

The model is white man not woman but the practice is woman in a lot of industries. There are more female doctors, lawyers basically anything other than STEM women are progressing in.
But yes it is very troubling to me the lack of African Americans in most white collar work places.
I worked at a large company that was always hiring and interviewing and saw many a black faces in the waiting room and their resume.
Never saw one hired despite credentials. Not for a white collar role. Only for support roles and even then it was rare. People assume black women will be sassy on the phone or have a bad attitude.

There's no contradiction. A very high percentage of whites are privileged, however it does not mean that all white people are comparatively living privileged lives. Privilege is not a stereotype, it's a statistic, and one that you should have the humility to admit to.
You should have the humility to admit when you've failed to make an argument that passes prima facie. Assuming privilege based on skin color is no less racist than claiming dysfunction based on skin color. Claiming "all white people are privileged" is akin to claiming "all black people are criminals."
white privilege is often used in an accusatory context where you as a white person are accused of being the perpetrator of misfortune for the minorities, which i think can not stand.

Many white people are aware of this privilege and they therefore understand that they have an advantage over coloured people, simply based on the colour of their skin , although not all white people can get the benefits.

I think White people are privileged because of their skin tone. I have white friends who don't think so. They think they have suffered like the blacks. They think this way because they are not rich. But, they have other benefits that I try to explain to them. I think they know, but don't want to admit. White people have everything and they get away with everything.

The problem with these terms is that they often seem to imply that only this one particular group has privileges. White people definitely enjoy MORE privileges that black people, but you can't pretend that black or people of colour don't have their own.
It's the same with male vs female privilege, except in that one people still convince themselves that women still have less privilege. To that I say, "maybe in Saudi Arabia"

How recently do you think blacks were allowed to work their way up? My mom's generation was the first with the way things were on the east coast. My nana slaved away working hard her whole life. She was never allowed to make it far. People would withhold her wages and refuse to pay her knowing she would never be listened to by the law over them. She could be fired and replaced at any time in favor of someone whiter. She was an intelligent and beautiful woman, and she was lucky to be pale. She fared far better than many other blacks did. She watched er father be spit on and abused by whites every day in the south. My mom was born into this, and she still had to wait for serious changes to take full effect (not until the late 80's / early 90's) before she could benefit. I had to be bused to white schools in the 90's in FL, because they violated federal segregation and equality laws. Don't tell us what could and could not be done! No one wants whites to help so much as to not hinder.

Actually white privilege isn't really about economics, it is about the difference between the way white people are treated in society as opposed to POC. It helps explain some of the economic disparity but is not defined by it - most poor people in the US are white.
That's because a majority of the people in the US Are white, but comparatively there are a lot less white people that live in poverty compared to other minority groups.
Great take. I live in the suburbs of Chicago and go to the city a lot and there's definitely segregated areas and issues with gentrification, especially with Pilsen. In fact, when I walked to a show, there was graffiti saying fuck gentrification on the sidewalk.
People who get offended by the term "white privilege" are the same people who get offended by "black lives matter" and "cracker".
