Trump must be hoping the Republican majority survives the mid-term elections.
Even if it didn't, a two-thirds supermajority in the Senate would be required to convict him under articles of impeachment, so Trump is safe for now. The only chance liberals have to be rid of him is to vote him out in 2020.

@SEuclid it's totally happening, but I kinda believe Bill Maher when he says Trump will never actually go to jail if things remain as they are. Even if Democrats completely sweep congress and the senate we'll still need about a dozen Republicans to vote against their glorious leader. Trump is basically above the law until 2020.

Before the election Obama said himself that the election could not be rigged. Also my sister went to a Trump campaign rally... there were thousands of people there. Hillary did not have nearly as many. Hillary is to blame for losing the election.. no one else. Maybe next time the democrats will have a viable candidate and stop pandering to minorities and elites as much. But they won't... the only message the democrats have for the people now is "I hate Trump" and "we care more about illegals more than the American citizens".

I also know that if ads were not effective to sway elections, the candidates themselves wouldn’t spend hundreds of millions of dollars on them. so when a foreign state spends millions and further employs “bots” to disseminate the ads deeper into the American consciousness they are not just doing it for shits and giggles.

@SEuclid Trump is not liked by the elite even if technically, he is elite. Washington and Jefferson were elites. Elite is not always bad. Hillary is a lap dog of Goldman Sachs. Trump dealt with them from time to time, but he never owed the other elites any real favors like Lizard on a String Hillary.
